  • David Cassidy Of The Partridge Family Pleads Guilty To DWI

    Times Union reports that '70s pop singer and The Partridge Family star David Cassidy plead guilty to a DWI charge in upstate New York yesterday, Sept. 3. This plea deal stems from an incident near Albany last summer, in which the 64-year-old singer was pulled over for reportedly failing to dim his headlights to oncoming traffic, and was discovered to be driving while intoxicated. Cassidy was visiting New York for the Saratoga Race Course meet.

    In a recent interview with D8 TV in France, Libertines frontman Pete Doherty revealed that one of the potential producers for the band's comeback album is none other than Jack White, claiming that the former White Stripes frontman "said he'd like to produce" the album, which would be their first since their 2004 sophomore effort The Libertines.

    In an interview with Los Angeles Leakers, Queens hip-hop group G-Unit confirmed a new EP, titled The Beast is G-Unit, which is set for release some time in October. This news comes a little more than a week after the release of the group's most recent EP, The Beauty of Independence. In the interview, 50 Cent explains how The Beauty of Independence and The Beast is G-Unit were conceived as two halves of the same work.
