With an introduction by Imagine Dragons' Dan Reynolds, Lamar paid tribute to fellow Compton legend by performing Tupac's classic "California Love" before segueing into his hit "m.A.A.d city" with his TDE backing band.

    Jerrod Niemann's Gold-certified smash single, "Drink to That All Night," spent 29 weeks in the country charts before hitting #1, where it stayed for two weeks. Now, in week #31, it has dropped to #5 on Billboard's Country Airplay chart, but Jerrod is still #1 in the hearts of his fans.
  • New Christian Music Coming in May 2014

    In May, 33 new albums from Christian artists will be hitting the stores. Carman's "No Plan B," funded and recorded after he was diagnosed with terminal cancer, is one that is making the biggest news. Add that to new music from Seventh Day Slumber, Crosspoint and Michael W. Smith, and you've got a big month of music indeed.

    No offense to Brad Wilk, but he's not the first guy we go to when we want an update on Rage Against The Machine. Still, it's worth examination when the percussionist claims that Rage Against The Machine is done.
  • 'Jurassic Park' soundtrack from John Williams getting vinyl re-release

    Film soundtracks have become the most recent trend in vinyl, as listeners reach back to pick up their favorite scores pressed on 12-inch discs. Mondo is the most recent label to supply us, as it will release the classic 'Jurassic Park' score on June 11.

  • Baz Luhrmann reportedly directing Elvis Presley biopic for Warner Brothers

    The good news (or bad news, depending on how you view it) is that an Elvis Presley biopic is reportedly in the works from Warner Brothers Pictures. The studio's reportedly been in talks with director Baz Luhrmann for a while now, but more telling is the fact that the company recently secured the entire music catalogue.

    Beyonce has officially been named the highest paid black artist. Beyonce is building quite a musical legacy for herself. Mrs. Carter has officially been named the highest paid black artist.
