Pitchfork has had a somewhat secondhand influence on the re-popularization of vinyl, namely by promoting the hip bands that have been the major movers in revitalizing the format (we're not judging; we too prefer our music on big 12-inch discs, maybe just for the larger album art). Now Pitchfork is playing a more major role in what we sentimental journalists hope will be the revitalization of print news publications. -

'Breaking Bad' fans are pretty diehard, and anyone who watched the show knows how haunting (and exciting because it’s starting) the opening theme song is. Well starting on Nov. 26 you can listen to the opening song again and again on vinyl and drive yourself crazy. -
T.I. and Grand Hustle imprint sign to Columbia Records
Rapper T.I. had already mentioned that he was looking at labels to put out his forthcoming ninth album as well as sign on his own hip-hop imprint, Grand Hustle Records. The rapper announced on Friday that he and his label would be joining up with Columbia Records. T.I. personally had been signed with Atlantic records since 2003, and his contract ended earlier this year. His last album with the label was Trouble Man: Heavy Is The Head, which came out in December 2012. -
DIIV criticizes Grimes for her take on being vegan
Apparently Grimes isn't vegan enough for New York band DIIV. It all started when Grimes posted on her Tumblr that she loved the new Anchorman themed Ben and Jerry's butterscotch ice cream called Scotchy Scotch Scotch, released to promote the upcoming sequel. -
