James Taylor Finally Hits No. 1, Beating Namesake Taylor Swift
It's been a long-time-coming for James Taylor as his newest album, Before The World, took the no. 1 spot on the Billboard 200, making it the first record in the songwriter's 45-year career to do so (that span, measuring from the release of Taylor's first album to this one, is the second longest span in chart history, behind only Tony Bennett, who went 54 years without a no. 1). Before The World sold 97,000 copies...far from Taylor's best but plenty enough to take the top spot. -
Keith Urban's New Album Will Have EDM Influence, Nile Rodgers Says
Keith Urban may have played largely with his standard hand on his new single "John Cougar, John Deere, John 3:16," but for the rest of his Fuse follow-up, don't expect much of the same. Dej Loaf and Young Thug have teamed up on a new track titled "Shawty." Loaf burst onto the scene with her sensual R&B jams, but unlike in the past, she has decided to switch mediums to rap for this raunchy sexual track with Thugger. "Shawty" is about a great lover that Loaf has who is able to please her in the bedroom in ways that are explicitly laid out in the track. -

Electric Daisy Carnival Announces Expansion for Brazil In 2015
The dust has barely settled over Las Vegas Motor Speedway from the nearly 500,000 pairs of dancing feet at Electric Daisy Carnival and the company who throws the festival, Insomniac Events has already announced a brand new massive which will take place at the end of the year. Insomniac has announced a fresh expansion beyond its traditional base in the United States southward to Brazil for EDC Brasil. The event will take place over two days, Dec. 4-5. -
