The Paul John-directed clip features Riff Raff performing with a rock band in a musky, heavily graffitied punk club, which is the direction he'll apparently be taking on his upcoming 'Purple Panther' album. No cocaine is snorted in the video, though there is an animated Riff Raff made out of coke lines, which is much, much better.
  • U2 Accused Of "Cashing In" On Irish Terror Attacks With Belfast Video Shoot

Between the widespread criticism against the free iTunes release of their latest album, 'Songs of Innocence.' and Bono's unfortunate biking accident in New York City, U2 couldn't seem to catch a break this past year, and following a controversial music video shoot last week, matters have only gotten worse. According to reports, residents of Belfast, Northern Ireland have accused the legendary rock band of tastelessly "cashing in" on their city's infamous sectarian violence with a music video shoot last Wednesday, Dec. 17, which stirred up plenty of painful memories.

  • Sky Ferreira Shares 'Omanko' Music Vid Feat. Zachary Cole Smith [WATCH]

Although Sky Ferreira's "Omanko" was released all the way back in October 2013 on her debut studio album "Night Time, My Time," the 22-year-old singer has finally gotten around to releasing a music video for the song, which you can check out below. The video consists entirely of home video footage shot by Ferreira's boyfriend Zachary Cole Smith — lead singer of Brooklyn indie rock band DIIV — and features clips of Ferreira in concert, as well as Ferreira and Smith doing gross stuff like kissing. Since the song's lyrics are about Japanese Christmas — and Japanese Jesus, whoever that is — there is also some Christmas imagery throughout, just in time for the holidays. You can check out Sky Ferreira's "Omanko" music video, directed by Zachary Cole Smith, here:

  • Killer Mike, Young Thug, 34 Others Featured On 42-Minute Track "The Rap Monument" [WATCH]

Have you ever listened to a rap song and found yourself wishing that it was about 40 minutes longer and had a thousand guest verses? If you have, then you're in luck, because Noisey has released its massive, Hudson Mohawke-produced "The Rap Monument," which features 36 rappers doing what they do best (rapping) for 42 minutes, more than twice as long as Eminem's 16-minute "Detroit vs. Everybody" remix. If you'd like some context, it's about two minutes longer than the entirety of Illmatic.
  • Nas Calls America's Racial Divide 'Embarrassing'

Ever since he burst onto the scene in the early 1990s, Nas has been one of the most socially and politically conscious artists in hip-hop, which means he has been particularly vocal in recent months about the ever-increasing racial tensions in this country. In a new interview with "Time," the Queensbridge rapper discusses the racial divide in the United States and compares our country to South Africa during its oppressive apartheid era. "It's not cool to look like apartheid South Africa 1988," the rapper laments. "How are we going to be the free world or the most powerful country when inside this country we're fighting because of skin color? That's just embarrassing. I'm one of the guys that's out there saying, 'Listen, it has to stop.'" "America, we are really smart enough to figure it out," Nas continues, "but I guess it's safer to hang out and be ignorant, be hateful and think that one person is better than the other." Recently, Nas has joined Russell Simmons in the New York City protests in response to the deaths of Eric Garner and Michael Brown at the hands of police officers.
  • Big Boi Drops New Verse on Maroon 5's 'Animals' Remix [LISTEN]

Maroon 5 has shared a remix of their latest single "Animals," featuring a new guest verse from OutKast's Big Boi, which you can check out below. • Jack White Singles Discovered Inside Furniture: Hidden for 10 Years

If you think Jack White's penchant for quirky, vinyl releases started with his solo career in the last few years, then you are way off. In the early 2000s, White and his friend Brian Muldoon played together in a duo known as The Upholsterers — named for their actual profession at the time — but instead of releasing their second single in a traditional manner, they decided to press just 100 copies and sew them into 100 pieces of furniture that Muldoon was reupholstering in 2004 without telling the owners of the furniture. Though it would be fair to assume that this story was just Jack White doing some self-mythologizing, Third Man Records claims that two of the 100 singles have recently been discovered. In celebration of the single's discovery, White has shared the cover artwork, which was created by Detroit artist Gordon Newton. You can check out the eerie single cover here:
  • DJ Premier, Royce Da 5' 9" Share 'PRhyme Time' Music Vid [WATCH]

Hip-hop duo PRhyme have shared the music video for their new single "PRhyme Time," which you can check out below. The video features footage of Royce da 5' 9" and DJ Premier working in the studio, filmed on what looks like a warbly 1990s camcorder — the date in the corner even claims that this was filmed in November 1992, though it probably was not. There is plenty of Fila product placement throughout, probably because Beats by Dre did not exist yet in 1992. You can check out the music video for PRhyme's "PRhyme Time" here:
  • Incubus Releasing 2 EPs in '15, Signs with Island Records

Alt-rock band Incubus has not released a new album since 2011's "If Not Now, When?," but according to guitarist Mike Einziger, the band has some new music on the way for 2015. In an interview with "Billboard," Einziger revealed that Incubus has signed with Island Records, but instead of releasing a full-album, they will be releasing two new EPs in 2015. "We're hoping to have the first one in February or March," Einziger says, "then the summer." These EPs will be Incubus's first releases since parting ways with Epic Records in 2012 and were recorded without any idea of how they would be released. "We didn't have any plans to make this record," Einziger says. "Just having no horizon to look at was important to us. We needed that." As to how the music on these EPs compares to their previous releases, Einziger says that most of it is "high energy" though still fairly eclectic.
