  • Andre 3000 Says He Was "Selling Out" With OutKast Reunion, Calls Coachella Performance "Horrible"

Though OutKast's reunion this past year was one of the most anticipated in recent memory, the critical response of the Atlanta duo's festival appearances was less than stellar, and in a recent interview with The Fader, Andre Benjamin (a.k.a. Andre 3000) reveals why. Talking with electronic musician Nicolas Jaar, Benjamin admits that he didn't actually want the reunion to happen, and that he felt like a "sell-out."
  • Purity Ring Shares 'Push Pull' from Upcoming Album [LISTEN]

Canadian synthpop duo Purity Ring has shared a new song titled "Push Pull," which you can check out below. Like the previous Purity Ring singles, "Push Pull" is entirely electronic — with the exception of Megan James's vocals, of course — and seems to bridge the gap between indy electronica and Top 40 pop, with a beat that could easily support a verse by Nicki Minaj, if she were so inclined. The track was shared with some animated artwork by Russian artist Renata Raksha, though it is not exactly a music video. You can check out Purity Ring's "Push Pull" here:

  • Jack Black Stars In OFF!'s Hilarious 'Over Our Heads' Music Video [WATCH]

Hardcore punk supergroup OFF! have shared the music video for their song "Over Our Heads," which you can check out below. The narrative clip follows the band as they go skydiving for singer Keith Morris's 59th birthday, with Jack Black perfectly cast as their crazed instructor, but things take a turn for the worse when their plane crashes, forcing the band to survive out in the wild. It's a hilarious video, but a bit gory at times, so don't watch it if you can't handle blood (though it's pretty cartoony and not actually horrifying).
  • Kip Moore Announces 2015 North American Tour Dates [FULL SCHEDULE]

  • Lil Wayne, Big Sean, More Drop Verses In DJ Mustard's "Face Down" Lyric Video [WATCH]

Hip-hop producer DJ Mustard has shared the lyric video for his track "Face Down," featuring Lil Wayne, Big Sean, YG, and Lil Boosie, which you can check out below. The video basically shifts back and forth between two background images: a silhouette of a pole-dancing stripper for the chorus (of course) and a ton of neon-lit hundred dollar bills floating through space for the verses (of course). As for the lyrics themselves, let's just say that these aren't exactly the type of lyrics that deserve any extra attention, but here we are.

  • Courtney Love Has No Creative Control Over Cobain Doc

As with most things relating to her late husband Kurt Cobain, it was expected that Courtney Love would have some level of input and creative control over the recently announced Cobain HBO documentary "Montage of Heck." But according to "The Hollywood Reporter," Love has reportedly been given no creative control into the project, despite the fact that the film was her idea in the first place. "She gave me the keys to this kingdom and final cut of the film," says the film's director Brett Morgan, whom Love first contacted in 2007 to create a documentary about the legendary Nirvana frontman. Though he has not been working with Love on the project, Morgan has instead been working with Love and Cobain's daughter Frances Bean Cobain, who is serving as executive producer. Frances Bean was just 20 months old when her famous father committed suicide in April 1994, and she believes that giving her mother any sort of control over the project would be inappropriate, as she is such an integral part to the story of Cobain's life. "At a certain point, I started working more closely with [Frances Bean]," Morgan says. "We [all] agreed that because Courtney was a subject in the film, it would be best if she wasn't given editorial control."

  • Kenny Chesney Shares Tropical "Christmas In Blue Chair Bay" Music Video [WATCH]

Country superstar Kenny Chesney has shared the music video for his new Christmas single, "Christmas in Blue Chair Bay," which you can check out here. The video finds Chesney spending Christmas on a tropical island, playing guitar in the sand and taking rides of sailboats while the rest of us freeze back up here in the States like a bunch of chumps. The video concludes with Chesney, along with his friends and/or family, wishing everyone a merry Christmas (and flashing some heavy metal devil horns, for some reason).
  • Gucci Mane Shares New Track "Dead People" Featuring Raury [LISTEN]

Atlanta rappers Gucci Mane and Raury have teamed up for a new track titled "Dead People," which you can check out here. The track moves along with a pretty gnarly electronic beat and some quirky synths, while Gucci delivers the hook and the first verse. Raury comes out on top, however, delivering a rapid-fire verse that totally brightens up the song's murky, relaxed tempo. As the single's artwork suggests, the titular "Dead People" refer to hundred dollar bills with pictures of Ben Franklin on them, which can't accurately be called "dead presidents" since Franklin was never president.
  • Sleater-Kinney Share New Song 'Surface Envy' From Upcoming Album 'No Cities To Love' [LISTEN]

Recently reunited punk heroes Sleater-Kinney have shared another new song from their upcoming album "No Cities To Love," an unruly riff storm titled "Surface Envy," which you can check out below. The track, which originally premiered during an NPR interview but has now surfaced online, is classic Sleater-Kinney: dark post-punk riffs played on fuzzy guitars with singer Corin Tucker wailing over the top of it all, so diehard fans will not be disappointed. Tucker's voice has certainly matured, but she still maintains its distinctive power.
