  • Lee Brice, Chris Young Announce Tour Through March [SCHEDULE]

    Country superstars Lee Brice and Chris Young have teamed up for a string of co-headlining dates this winter. According to "Taste of Country," their joint dates kick off Jan. 22 in Syracuse, New York, and finish March 8 in the considerably warmer climate of Honolulu, Hawaii. Country duo The Brothers Osborne will be opening for seven of the nine dates. You can check out the complete list of tour dates below. "Lee and I had a blast last year when we were out with Brad [Paisley]," Chris Young said in a press release, via "Taste of Country," "and so we thought it would be great to join up for a co-headlining tour for our fans this winter. I can't wait to kick things off in Syracuse later this month and head west all the way to Hawaii!" This tour comes in support of Lee Brice's most recent album "I Don't Dance," which was released in September. The album was Brice's third overall, his first since 2012's "Hard 2 Love," and spawned the singles "I Don't Dance" and "Drinking Class." Chris Young's most recent album "A.M." — not to be confused with the Wilco or Arctic Monkeys albums of the same name — was released in 2013, and was the singer's fourth studio album.
  • Stevie Wonder Extends 'Songs in the Key of Life' Tour [SCHEDULE]

    Last year, music legend Stevie Wonder set out on a tour to commemorate his classic album "Songs in the Key of Life," but just in case you missed him, Wonder has announced a new string of tour dates for March and April, which you can check out below. According to "radio.com," Wonder's newly announced tour dates kick off March 17 in Denver, and finish up April 12 with a performance at Brooklyn's Barclays Center, with dates in Houston, Dallas, New Orleans, Louisville, Minneapolis, Austin, Nashville and Baltimore in between. For each concert on his "Songs in the Key of Life" tour, Wonder will perform all 21 songs from his classic 1976 album, along with other songs from throughout his career — it was not the only great album he made, after all. In other Stevie Wonder news, the 64-year-old singer will be the subject of a special Grammy tribute, which will air on CBS Feb. 16 at 9 p.m. Among the artists slated to perform at the event are Coldplay frontman Chris Martin, Ed Sheeran, Janelle Monae, Usher and Willie Nelson.

    This morning, the nominees for the 87th Annual Academy Awards were revealed, including the nominees for Best Original Song. Though there were plenty of songs that were widely assumed to be shoo-ins, such as Lana Del Rey's "Big Eyes" and Lorde's "Yellow Flicker Beat," they were passed over for some pretty left-field choices (most surprisingly, only one of the songs on this list was also nominated for a Golden Globe). Here are the five Academy Award nominees for Best Original Song ranked, from worst to best.

    Atlanta rapper 2 Chainz has shared a new track titled "Road Dawg," from his upcoming T.R.U. Jack City mixtape, which you can check out below. The song features some very sparse production by DJ Spinz, who lays off the beats entirely for large sections of the track, leaving 2 Chainz to do most of the heavy lifting himself when it comes to the song's momentum.
  • The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus, A Skylit Drive Announce Co-Headlining Tour [FULL SCHEDULE]

    Post-hardcore bands A Skylit Drive and The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus have announced a co-headling spring tour across the U.S. According to Alternative Press, the tour kicks off on March 12 in Anaheim, California (A Skylit Drive's home state), and finishes up on April 19 in Orlando, Florida (RJSA's home state). Opening acts for the tour include Wolves at the Gate, ForTheWin, and Breaking Through.
  • Kendrick Lamar Drops Guest Verse on Jonathan Emile's 'Heaven Help Dem' [LISTEN]

    Canadian rapper Jonathan Emile has shared a politically charged new track titled "Heaven Help Dem," featuring a guest appearance by Kendrick Lamar, which you can check out below. The track finds Emile and Lamar rapping about the overwhelming violence against black men in the United States, with Lamar opening his verse with recollections of his own horrifying experiences: "The average black man only live to 25/Pac died at 25/How many kids you know dead at 20? 5?/ Nah, that's light/I know 10 that's crumblin' in coffins." It's powerful stuff, accompanied by a video featuring images of Trayvon Martin, Mike Brown, Eric Garner, and many others.
  • Mac DeMarco Embarking On World Tour In Support Of Latest Album 'Salad Days' [FULL SCHEDULE]

    Canadian slack-rock hero Mac DeMarco will be setting out on a world tour in support of his latest album Salad Days. According to Pitchfork, the tour kicks off tomorrow, Jan. 15, in Tokyo, and takes DeMarco to South Korea, Vietnam, Indonesia, Singapore, Australia, New Zealand, and Mexico before he hits the US in April for Coachella. The tour ends in June with DeMarco's appearance at Bonnaroo in Manchester, Tennessee.
  • Mike WiLL Made It Shares 'F--k U Expect' Music Vid Feat. Jace [WATCH]

    Superstar hip-hop producer Mike WiLL Made It has shared the music video for his track "F--k U Expect" featuring Jace, which you can check out below. The Max-directed video finds Jace, of the groups Retro Sushi and Two-9, hanging around a gas station drinking beer and, later on, in the middle of a busy highway. The video is incredibly short, coming in at just a minute and a half, but that is the perfect amount of time to get the gist of what Mike WiLL and Jace are trying to do and gives the track a cool, "Madvillainy" vibe.   • Kenny Chesney Announces Tour in Support of Latest Album 'The Big Revival' [SCHEDULE]

    Country superstar Kenny Chesney has announced a massive North American tour in support of his latest album "The Big Revival." According to "The Boot," Chesney's Big Revival Tour kicks off March 26 — Chesney's 47th birthday — in Nashville and finishes with two dates in Foxboro, Massachusetts, Aug. 28 and 29. Tickets go on sale Friday, Jan. 23 at 10 a.m. In a press release, via "The Boot," Chesney hints at some possible guest appearances by his many country superstar friends. "You know, when you're playing where everybody lives — and they know it's a party, well, all kinds of people show up!" the press release reads.   • Ne-Yo Shares Vid for 'Who's Taking You Home' from Album 'Non-Fiction' [WATCH]

    Ne-Yo's upcoming album "Non-Fiction" is set to drop toward the end of the month, so in anticipation the R&B superstar has shared another one of the album's songs, titled "Who's Taking You Home," in the form of a lyric video, which you can check out below. "Who's Taking You Home" is part ballad, part dance-party, filled with semi-romantic longings toward a woman Ne-Yo has met in the club and wants to go home with.   • FKA twigs Tangles Herself Up in 'Pendulum' Music Vid [WATCH]

    British R&B singer FKA twigs has shared the music video for her song "Pendulum," which you can check out below. Directed by the singer herself, the bizarre video shows twigs tangled up in what looks like her own hair and later dancing on top of a giant puddle of water with her own face in it.   • Flying Lotus Shares 'Coronus, the Terminator' Music Vid [WATCH]

    Electronic artist Flying Lotus has shared the haunting music video for his song "Coronus, the Terminator," which you can check out below. Directed by Young Replicant, the clip stars Flying Lotus, among other people, as some sort of ghostly figure who witnesses a man's startlingly violent death. It is creepy stuff, but it is also beautiful in the strangest way. "Coronus, the Terminator" is the third music video to be shared from Flying Lotus's latest album "You're Dead!," following the videos for "Ready Err Not" and "Never Catch Me" featuring Kendrick Lamar. It is one of the rare songs in which Flying Lotus sings lead, rather than collaborating with a singer or rapper. "For me, 'Coronus' is one of the most important moments on 'You're Dead!' and holds ideas I'm planning to explore in my future work," Flying Lotus said of the song in a press release.   • Björk Announces 9th Album 'Vulnicura'

    Yesterday evening, Jan. 13, Iceland's greatest export Björk officially announced her new album through a handwritten message posted to her Twitter account. Keeping with her tradition of single-word album titles, this new album has been dubbed "Vulnicura," and though no album cover has yet been revealed, Björk shared the titles of the album's nine tracks: "Stonemilker," "Lionsong," "History of Touches," "Black Lake," "Family," "Notget," "Atom Dance," "Mouth Mantra" and "Quicksand." The album is set for release sometime in March.   • Yo Gotti Announces Mixtape 'Concealed,' Shares Track 'Real Rap' Feat. Jadakiss [LISTEN]

    Though his long-awaited album "The Art of Hustle" does not seem to be dropping anytime soon, Memphis rapper Yo Gotti is giving us a new mixtape instead, titled "Concealed" — that is the cover art above. According to "The Fader," the tape will be hosted by DJ Drama and is set to drop at any moment this week, but before it does, Gotti has shared one of its songs "Real Rap" featuring Jadakiss, which you can check out below. The track features some refreshingly soulful and hard-hitting production from The Youngstars, while Gotti and Jadakiss delivered some verses with their signature raspy flows.   • Belle & Sebastian Extend World Tour, Perfume Genius and Real Estate to Open [FULL SCHEDULE]

    Belle & Sebastian's upcoming studio album, 'Girls in Peacetime Want to Dance.' is set for release next week and in support of the album, the band has extended their world tour with a new string of North American tour dates for the spring. According to reports, the first North American leg of the tour kicks off on March 30 in Boston and finishes up in on April 18 with the band's second appearance at Coachella 2015, while the second leg kicks off on June 9 in Upper Darby, Pennsylvania and finishes up on June 18 in Kansas City. Singer-songwriter Perfume Genius will be opening for six dates, while New Jersey indie rock band Real Estate will be opening on two dates.
