• Electric Forest 2015 Lineup: Skrillex, Kaskade, Bassnectar, Flume Headline

    It could have been Skrillex leaking his inclusion the lineup yesterday or it might have been the plan all along, but either way the complete list of artists who perform at Electric Forest has been announced. Some of the names featured on the lineup include the aforementioned "Ease My Mind" producer, Kaskade, E Forest regular, Bassnectar, Flume, Big Gigantic, tech house king Carl Cox, Claude VonStroke, who was a rumored inclusion and many others.

    Buku Music & Arts Project has completed its lineup for the artists who will be making the trip down to New Orleans in a little more than a month's time. The second and final phase of artists includes acts like RL Grime; DJ Windows 98 (Win Butler of Arcade Fire's DJ side project); Claude vonStroke; Lil B, back from a near death experience; BadBadNotGood alongside Ghostface Killah; Hudson Mohawke; one of our 2015 artists to watch; Zella Day; and 2015 festival favorite ILoveMakonnen. Empire of the Sun, A$AP Rocky and Bassnectar will be headlining.

In March, the city will play host to its first major festival of the year, Buku Music and Art Festival, as the temperatures begin to warm up and the summer humidity descends upon the delta. The festival has announced the first wave of artists and the festival kept with tradition by bringing together a diverse cast of acts from all over the musical spectrum. Some of the headliners include Bassnectar, A$AP Rocky, Passion Pit, Empire Of The Sun, Porter Robinson (Live) and many more.

  • Electric Daisy Carnival Reveals '15 Sin City Dates [WATCH]

    Insomniac CEO Pasquale Rotella has announced in a Facebook post the dates for the Electric Daisy Carnival's 2015 Las Vegas event, which will return to the Las Vegas Motor Speedway June 19 to 21. According to "Your EDM," the 2015 festival will also bring back its weeklong EDMbiz Conference & Expo, which will run from June 16 to 23. "Let's celebrate under the electric sky and watch the sun rise together!" Rotella wrote in the Facebook announcement. "Come one, come all, come home."   • Tiësto, Zedd and Bassnectar to headline Ultra Music Experience

    Considering the title of Miami's Ultra Music Festival, it's understandable that other music gatherings might struggle to live up. However, the Ultra Music Experience on San Padre Island, TX, will try to serve as a healthy warm-up for the big event that takes place two weeks later. The event, being held for the fourth year at Schitterbahn Beach Waterpark, will occur between March 13-15.

    Big news recently has been the cancellation of and cutbacks to several electronic music events based on drug deaths such as those at Electric Zoo in New York City. Good news however: Some bold souls are still looking to keep dance (and other electronic-based music) alive by launching new events. One such concert is the Mountain Oasis Electronic Music Summit, which will be held between October 25-27 in Asheville, NC. Organizers announced the festival's lineup on Thursday and it features everything from EDM (Bassnectar) to industrial (Nine Inch Nails)
