  • Beyonce finds both Amazon and Target refusing to stock her new album during Holiday season

Last week we reported that Target would not be carrying Beyoncé's new self-titled album due to bitterness over the songstress's choice to release the album solely through iTunes for its first week. Now it seems that internet retailer Amazon.com will follow a similar route.
  • Beyoncé premieres 'Grown Woman' music video, filled with nostalgic clips and trippy VHS effects

Pepsi, with whom Beyoncé has a lucrative endorsement deal, has just premiered the official music video for non-album track "Grown Woman" on its website today (Dec. 19), and the clip is just full of heartwarming nostalgic footage.
  • 'Beyoncé' set to remain No. 1 on Billboard 200 for second week as new album gets physical release

Beyoncé is just ruling December; there's no denying that. The "XO" singer released a surprise album last Friday (Dec. 13), and in just three days, the set sold over 617,000 copies and got a No. 1 slot on the Billboard 200. Now, it's looking like Queen Bey is going to do it again.
  • Beyoncé zeitgeist leads to top of Billboard 200; Garth Brooks, Kelly Clarkson, R. Kelly place

Beyoncé's new album was totally unannounced, plus it came out on Thursday versus the traditional Tuesday release, plus it was only available on iTunes, so there's no way that it could have made a big Billboard 200 impact, right? HA.

If there's one drawback to this era in Beyoncé's career, it's that new music videos are no real surprise. When the pop megastar released her surprise fifth studio album Beyoncé on Friday (Dec. 13), the 14-song record was accompanied by 18 music videos -- one for each song and four bonus tracks. So, when a new single is announced, if you're one of the 617,000 people who have already purchased Beyoncé, you already know exactly what the visual component to the song will look like.
  • Beyoncé's liaison with iTunes means Target won't stock 'Beyoncé'

Beyoncé's unannounced album stunt wasn't to everyone's liking (it was just to most people's liking). One group that was unamused was Target stores. The superstore chain decided on Monday that as it wasn't given the same opportunity to market the album as iTunes (the only outlet selling Beyoncé upon its release), it will blackball the record altogether.
  • 'Beyoncé' breaks iTunes records by selling over 617,000 copies in three days, new album aiming for No. 1 on Billboard 200

Beyoncé is just breaking all kinds of records. After surprise-releasing her fifth studio album on Friday (Dec. 13) at midnight, the "XO" singer has shattered iTunes sales records and is aiming for a No. 1 debut on the Billboard 200.

  • Beyoncé performed new track 'XO' live for the first time in Chicago [WATCH]

Beyoncé caught everyone off guard late Thursday night when she, without warning, released a new, self-titled album with 14 tracks and 17 videos. This all happened amid her current Mrs. Carter Show World Tour, so during her Chicago gig Friday night, she debuted "XO," the album's tenth track, live for the first time.

  • Beyoncé secretly released new, self-titled 'visual album' last night [WATCH]

Last night, in a Santa Claus-like move, Beyoncé left us a new album to wake up to this morning. With no warning, the singer dropped 14 new songs and 17 videos on the self-titled Beyoncé, what she is calling her first "visual album."
  • Beyoncé's new album could drop in 2014

According to Rolling Stone, Beyoncé's new album might finally drop next year if Columbia Records chairman Rob Stringer's recent comments are true. "At some point, Beyoné will put a record out, and when she does, it will be monumental," he told Hits Daily Double. He did not, however, divulge specifics on a release date for the follow up to 2011's, 4. Although the singer has not released any true "singles," she has released about four teasers throughout 2013.
