    Mississippi rapper Big K.R.I.T. keeps building the hype for his upcoming album "Cadillactica" with the release of a new song titled “Soul Food,” featuring R&B star Raphael Saadiq. The track features one of the best beats of the year — the drums are unfussy and actually hit hard, instead of just skitter frantically across the surface — allowing K.R.I.T. to deliver some great verses and Saadiq to nail the beautiful vocal hook.

    DJ Infamous shared his single "Somethin Right" featuring Southern rappers Big K.R.I.T. and Yo Gotti in July, and today he hass shared the music video, which you can check out below. The clip features a Throwback Thursday intro with some old footage of Infamous and K.R.I.T. from 2007, but then shoots right up to the present day with some shopping, product placement, "Scarface"-watching and champagne drinking — you know, hip-hop stuff.

    Big K.R.I.T.'s upcoming album Cadillactica will be out in less than a month, but today the Mississippi rapper has shared the music video for the album's first single "Pay Attention" featuring Rico Love, which you can check out below. The Daniel Czernilofsky-directed clip is simple enough, with K.R.I.T. and Rico performing the song in some minimalist black-and-white settings while some women try to catch their attention (or get them to "pay attention," as the title implies).

The track originally appeared on Ross' most recent album Mastermind, and though the original features just Ross without any guest verses, this new remix features four guest appearances, including Big K.R.I.T., Mase, and Fabolous, plus a spoken word intro and outro from comedian Katt Williams. Instead of reusing one of his verses from the original track, Ross contributes a brand new verse for this remix.
