In a recent visit to the Pittsburgh radio station Froggy this week, the "Everything Has Changed" singer did a country-twinged rap cover of Eminem's classic 2002 track "Lose Yourself," and it's just as bizarre, adorable and kind of awesome as one would expect.

    Earlier during our weekly roundup of the Billboard Digital Downloads chart, we reported that Eminem had place three tracks within the Top 10, something that had only been done during the year by Katy Perry. A bigger deal is that the rapper was able to place four songs in the Hot 100 list, something that hasn't been done since 1964.

    BET brought back their freestyle/interview series Rap City last night in honor of The Marshall Mathers LP 2 release. In the one-off episode, Eminem and Slaughterhouse took turns at the mic to spit rhymes. Em requested that the beat be turned off so that he could take his turn a capella.

  • Eminem releases Marshall Mathers LP 2 B-side track 'Don't Front'

    The Marshall Mathers LP 2 hit stores yesterday, and those who purchased The Marshall Mathers LP 2/Call of Duty: Ghosts bundle pack got treated to an exclusive bonus track called "Don't Front." Eminem teamed up on the B-side with Brooklyn rapper Buckshot, who holds down the hook. Slim raps over a cut of New York group Black Moon's 1993 "I Got Cha Opin" off Enta Da Stage.

    There's something raw and real about a YouTube video that you don't see on a music video traditionally fit for television. In line with this spirit, the YouTube Music Awards were not what you would expect to see on the real tube. Actor and musician Jason Schwartzman (Coconut Records) co-hosted with comedian and musician Reggie Watts. The hosting was pretty much completely unscripted. Winners included Eminem, Taylor Swift and Lindsey Stirling. Lady Gaga and Tyler the Creator performed.

    Eminem teamed up with Kendrick Lamar for The Marshall Mathers LP 2 track “Love Game,” which leaked today online. The two rap about their romantic misfortunes over a sample of Wayne Fontana and the Mindbenders’ 1965 track “Game of Love.”
