  • Jay Z and Roc Nation sued for sample from 'Run This Town'

    The last week has been a big one for suing based on creative copyright. First the Gaye estate finally brought a lawsuit against Robin Thicke for the similarities between "Got To Give It Up" and "Blurred Lines," and then Teddy Riley sued Lady Gaga regarding the songwriting credits for the track "Teeth." Now Jay Z and his label Roc Nation Records are being sued by Tuf America regarding a song the Hov sampled...in 2009.

    History was made this week in the digital downloads charts, as for the first time ever outside of the Christmas season, all of the top three singles sold more than 300,000 downloads. But the fight for the top spot was still a tight one. See what songs won out below:

    If you missed last year's inaugural Made In America Festival, you can experience the whole thing and more in an upcoming documentary, directed by two-time Oscar winner Ron Howard. In an interview with Rolling Stone, Howard says that he felt a little uncomfortable directing the documentary, seeing as he hadn't heard of many of the artists that were set to play.

Grande reminded the audience of her Broadway chops with some less-than-Broadway-kosher musical numbers when she appeared on "Late Night With Jimmy Fallon."
