Justin Bieber just dropped his latest studio album Journals today (Dec. 23) at midnight. Originally due out last Monday (Dec. 16), the teen idol delayed the album's release by seven days because he wanted to add a new song. After a one week delay, Justin Bieber finally released his new album Journals Monday morning (Dec. 23) right at midnight. • REVIEW: Justin Bieber remixes Sage the Gemini's 'Gas Pedal,' and it's actually awesome [LISTEN]

It definitely seems as though Justin Bieber is trying to reshape his image as a serious, adult artist with a heavy R&B influence. For his Music Journals project, which is set to drop on Monday (Dec. 23), he collaborated with R. Kelly, Future, Lil Wayne and more. Just yesterday, the music video premiered for his collaboration single with Tyga "Wait For A Minute." Now, the old "Baby" singer has released a remix of Sage the Gemini's super chill, kind of sexy rap song "Gas Pedal."

  • Justin Bieber retiring? Pop star claims 'Complete My Journals' will be last album

Justin Bieber delivered a message to critics and haters Wednesday: Either love me, or leave me alone. He didn't actually use Jay Z's lyrics, but he did echo the rapper's sentiment from 2003's The Black Album when he told Los Angeles's Power 106 that the hard copy of 'Complete My Journals' would be his last collection before retiring from music.

It hasn't actually been that long since Justin Bieber last released a new song (only eight days), but for Beliebers, it likely feels like forever. Earlier this week, the teen pop sensation announced that he has delayed the release of his new album Journals by one week, all thanks to an additional song. However, to thank his fans for being oh-so-patient, the Biebz has teased three of the six new songs from the album on his official Instagram account. "Swap It Out," "One Life" and "What's Hatinin'" (feat. Future) have all gotten the snippet treatment.
