• Golden State Rap Songs: E-40, Mistah F.A.B. (and Lil B?) Get Behind Warriors

Tonight the Cleveland Cavaliers and LeBron James will go up against Steph Curry and the Golden State Warriors for the first game of the NBA championship. To get revved up for the series, Music Times has assembled hip-hop songs about each of the respective teams, as few musicians get as amped for their local sports teams as rappers (the number of songs/mixtapes named "Beast Mode" after Marshawn Lynch is astounding). We'll start with the Western Conference and Golden State, representing Oakland and its hyphy hip-hoppers. And no: "CoCo" by O.T. Genasis doesn't count...regardless of how often the team sings it.

Late last year, Lil B teased a collaboration with Frank Ocean, and although music from the two has yet to surface, the Based God did contribute to Ocean's forthcoming magazine, Boys Don't Cry, which is due out in July. Nabil Elderkin shared a photo on Instagram of the Oakland rapper with the caption, "That's a Rap wit the sensei @lilbisgod what a bro!" which probed the Fader to ask whether or not the director had shot a Lil B video. • Hear Frank Ocean's Moving Cover of Aaliyah's 'At Your Best (You Are Love)' [LISTEN]

On Jan. 16, treasured R&B/soul singer Aaliyah would have turned 36, and to honor her life, Frank Ocean covered the One In A Million singer's rendition of "At Your Best (You Are Love)," an Isley Brothers track from 1976 that was covered by Aaliyah in 1994. Frank Ocean took to his active Tumblr account to share the stripped-down and soulful cover. The Channel Orange singer dishes a moving falsetto, which he titles "You Are Luhh," that is a fitting tribute to the R&B singer who was taken from us too soon. His version seems to transition at the end into something unrelated — possibly new music from Ocean. Listen to the rendition below via Ocean's Tumblr.
