  • Michael Jackson Lawsuit: Debbie Rowe Testifies, Conrad Murray Leaks Information From Prison

Conrad Murray, the former doctor convicted of manslaughter for administering a fatal dose of sleep aid propofol to Michael Jackson, has been vocal in the recent past about his desire to NOT testify at the ongoing lawsuit between the Jackson family and AEG Live. However, as much as he claims not to be interested, he continues to pour information from outside of the courthouse. A recent blurb on his answering machine gave some information, which if true and/or allowed in testimony, could be damning to the Jackson family's case.
  • Michael Jackson Lawsuit: AEG Medical Ethics Expert Says That Jackson Family's Medical Ethics Expert Is Wrong

AEG Live brought in its own expert to counteract the arguments of the Jackson family that the concert promoter put pressures on Michael Jackson's doctor that made him unfit to properly provide medical care for the pop star.
  • Michael Jackson Glove at Center of International Lawsuit Between U.S. and Equatorial Guinea

As it turns out, the four-month and ongoing trial between the Jackson family and AEG Live is not the most interesting trial involving pop star Michael Jackson currently on the market. That title would have to go to, and we are not making up this case name, "United States of America v. One White Crystal-Covered 'Bad Tour' Glove and Other Michael Jackson Memorabilia," which is now entering its 28th month.

  • Michael Jackson Lawsuit: Debbie Rowe Takes The Stand, Blasts All of Pop Star's Former Doctors For Feeding Addiction

The most anticipated witness at the Jackson Family/AEG Live lawsuit (outside of the family members themselves) took the stand on Wednesday. • Michael Jackson Lawsuit: Pop Star Died Nearly $500 Million in Debt, Accountant Reports

One of the contentious issues at the lawsuit between the Jackson family and AEG Live has been how much money Michael Jackson would have theoretically made if he hadn't died in 2009. An expert for the Jackson's testified that the pop star could have made $1.6 billion in just a few years, but another expert for the defense valued his potential earnings much lower. It may be a moot point however, as an accountant Monday that Michael was in state of crippling debt when he passed.
  • Michael Jackson Lawsuit UPDATE: Brother Randy Jackson Says At Least Ten Interventions Attempted, Mother Katherine "In Denial"

Arguments from Katherine Jackson that her son, pop star Michael Jackson, didn't have a drug addiction seem to be falling apart as the defense continues its stay at the stand. At the end of this week, AEG Live showed a video deposition taped in February of Michael's brother Randy Jackson discussing the pop star's drug habits.
  • Michael Jackson Trial: AEG Lawyer Testifies That Company Paid Conrad Murray $150,000 A Month, Entertainment Lawyer Calls Decision Conflict of Interest

In a telling piece of testimony, a lawyer who represented AEG when a contract was drawn up for Conrad Murray, the doctor held responsible for manslaughter in the case of pop star Michael Jackson's death, testified on behalf of the defense at the Jackson family's case against AEG. Kathy Jorrie was reportedly involved in the contractual negotiations with Murray. Regardless of what Jorrie testified, the Jackson have accused AEG of negligently hiring Murray, while the company has denied having a role in the hiring. Whether that will change due to this testimony remains unseen.
