  • Michael Jackson Glove at Center of International Lawsuit Between U.S. and Equatorial Guinea

As it turns out, the four-month and ongoing trial between the Jackson family and AEG Live is not the most interesting trial involving pop star Michael Jackson currently on the market. That title would have to go to, and we are not making up this case name, "United States of America v. One White Crystal-Covered 'Bad Tour' Glove and Other Michael Jackson Memorabilia," which is now entering its 28th month.
  • Justin Bieber Releases Remix of Michael Jackson Track 'Slave To The Rhythm' [LISTEN]

A few people might remember when "Slave to The Rhythm" debuted in 2010 but just in case: The song, a posthumous release from Michael Jackson, got a limited release following the pop star's death. Now it's making a comeback thanks to a remix by Justin Bieber, perhaps Jackson's heir apparent to the King of Pop title.
  • Michael Jackson, Justin Bieber Collaboration, 'Slave to the Rhythm' Gets Remix from 'Baby' Singer? Track Leaks on YouTube, New Song 2013 Remains Mystery [LISTEN]

  • Michael Jackson Lawsuit: Debbie Rowe Describes Effect of Pop Star's Death on Daughter Paris Jackson

Testimony from Debbie Rowe continued Thursday as part of the Jackson family's lawsuit against AEG Live. Rowe, the mother of pop star Michael Jackson's two oldest children, described the effects of her ex-husband's death on son Prince, but mainly the effect on daughter Paris.
  • Michael Jackson Lawsuit: Debbie Rowe Takes The Stand, Blasts All of Pop Star's Former Doctors For Feeding Addiction

The most anticipated witness at the Jackson Family/AEG Live lawsuit (outside of the family members themselves) took the stand on Wednesday. Debbie Rowe, Jackson's former wife and the mother of his two oldest children, testified that Jackson had a drug problem, implying that AEG Live was not responsible for his death.
  • Michael Jackson Lawsuit: Pop Star Died Nearly $500 Million in Debt, Accountant Reports

One of the contentious issues at the lawsuit between the Jackson family and AEG Live has been how much money Michael Jackson would have theoretically made if he hadn't died in 2009. An expert for the Jackson's testified that the pop star could have made $1.6 billion in just a few years, but another expert for the defense valued his potential earnings much lower. It may be a moot point however, as an accountant Monday that Michael was in state of crippling debt when he passed.
  • Michael Jackson Lawsuit UPDATE: Brother Randy Jackson Says At Least Ten Interventions Attempted, Mother Katherine "In Denial"

Arguments from Katherine Jackson that her son, pop star Michael Jackson, didn't have a drug addiction seem to be falling apart as the defense continues its stay at the stand. At the end of this week, AEG Live showed a video deposition taped in February of Michael's brother Randy Jackson discussing the pop star's drug habits.
  • Michael Jackson Trial: AEG Lawyer Testifies That Company Paid Conrad Murray $150,000 A Month, Entertainment Lawyer Calls Decision Conflict of Interest

In a telling piece of testimony, a lawyer who represented AEG when a contract was drawn up for Conrad Murray, the doctor held responsible for manslaughter in the case of pop star Michael Jackson's death, testified on behalf of the defense at the Jackson family's case against AEG. Kathy Jorrie was reportedly involved in the contractual negotiations with Murray. Regardless of what Jorrie testified, the Jackson have accused AEG of negligently hiring Murray, while the company has denied having a role in the hiring. Whether that will change due to this testimony remains unseen.
  • Michael Jackson Lawsuit: Paris Jackson's Father Kept Drug Problem Hidden Testifies Former Head of Security

The former security chief for Michael Jackson testified that he had concerns regarding the pop star's use of prescription drugs. Michael La Perruque was speaking on behalf of the defense, AEG Live, at the hearing where the Jackson family is suing the concert promoter, alleging that it contributed to Michael's decline and death. The company denies any role, suggesting that the pop star had hidden his addiction well.
  • Michael Jackson and Freddie Mercury: Pairing Isn't Only One With Unreleased Recordings, How About Bob Dylan and The Beatles?

The eyes of pop music fans grew wide when it was announced this week that nearly six hours of recordings featuring both Michael Jackson and Freddie Mercury would be released soon. NME provided a list of other big-name compilations that haven't seen the light in an official release yet. Some are good ideas, some are bad ideas, and we, over-opinionated aggregation journalists, have decided to let you know which is which.
  • Michael Jackson Lawsuit: Debbie Rowe Not Expected to Take The Stand This Week, Mother of Pop Star's Children Still Expected to Testify

Members of the tabloid press will have to wait until at least next week before Debbie Rowe comes to the stand to testify on behalf of the AEG Live defense team. Rowe, the former wife of Michael Jackson and mother to his children Prince and Paris Jackson, is an anticipated witness as she was privy to many of the pop star's treatments during the '90s.
  • Michael Jackson Lawsuit: Lawyer for Paris Jackson's Father Allows Paid Consultant to Testify for Other Side

Katherine Jackson was shocked to see Eric Briggs taking the stand to testify on behalf of AEG Live during the Jackson family's trial against the concert promoter. After all, Briggs had worked with the family before, being employed as a consultant to estimate the value of Jackson's most valuable piece of property: the Sony-ATV music catalog, which hosted the rights to The Beatles among other big music acts. How did Briggs find it ethical to speak for AEG? Well, he got permission from the lawyer representing Michael's estate.
