One of the summer's most anticipated movies, Entourage, is just two weeks away from opening night and fans of the show (myself being one) can hardly wait. The HBO series highlights the inner workings of Hollywood in a comedic manner and does so with a great soundtrack propelling it to a worldwide audience. The show featured tracks, notably hip-hop tracks, from the likes of Jay Z, T.I., Kanye West, Eminem, N.W.A. and many more. That tradition of big tracks to go along with the overtop acting is coming to the big screen and the film soundtrack has been unveiled. Among those who will appear on the tracklist include Diplo, Pharrell, Tame Impala and Jane's Addiction. -
The National Releasing 9-LP, 6 Hour Performance of Same Song as Limited Edition Box Set
The National's fans are in for a treat as the band has announced a new box set highlighting its performance at the Museum of Modern Art in New York from 2013. Notably, the band played for six hours at the event, repeating the same song—"Sorrow"—over and over. And yes. Now you'll be able to buy the entire set as one release. The title? Very humorously...A Lot of Sorrow. -

The National has dropped a surprise single "Sunshine on My Back" today, April 2. It is the first piece of new music the Brooklyn outfit has released since its sixth studio album 'Trouble Will Find Me' in 2013. According to 'Consequence of Sound,' the tune did not make the group's last album, and it features vocal work from songstress Sharon Van Etten. -

Back in October, Bon Iver frontman Justin Vernon announced that he would be launching the Eaux Claires Music & Arts Festival in his hometown of Eau Claire, Wisconsin, and today (Dec. 17), it was revealed that Vernon will be curating the festival himself along with The National guitarist Aaron Dessner. The festival will take place on July 17 and 18, with tickets going on sale tomorrow, Dec. 18, at noon CST. -
Happy Halloween! Arcade Fire Release Horror Film 'Festi' Co-Starring The National, Andrew Garfield & Fleet Foxes [WATCH]
It is Halloween, the bona fide spookiest day of the year, and Arcade Fire celebrated not by dressing up in elaborate costumes (the band does that anyway) but by releasing its own short horror film.
