• Caller Trolls C-SPAN With 'Fresh Prince' Theme Song [WATCH]

C-SPAN is not known as riveting television for the vast majority of the populous. Your average consumer does not turn on C-SPAN for some post-dinner TV, but that does not mean there cannot be some entertaining moments from time to time. On Tuesday morning, March 17, the host of the 'Washington Journal' took a call from an individual in California whom he believed was going to discuss the potential nuclear deal with Iran, but his response was a little fresh. The man, who went by the name 'Jack Strickland' clarified that he was calling from Bel-Air, California, and proceeded to start singing in spoken word the words to the theme song from the 1990s sitcom classic 'Fresh Prince of Bel-Air.'
  • 6 Death Metal Vocal Dubs on YouTube: Spongebob, Ernie & Bert, and The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air Join Mary Poppins

The viral video of the moment features Mary Poppins and Bert, singing and dancing among an animated cast as they would during the original film...except death-growling bloody murder rather than singing the actual lyrics to "Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious," bringing a whole new meaning to the phrase "something quite atrocious." This isn't the first death-metal-dub video we've seen, but we expect to see plenty more due to the popularity of this Mary Poppins spoof. Here's a brief ranking of six flicks on YouTube that feature unusually brutal vocals and blastbeats dubbed over otherwise innocuous material.
  • Willow Smith Drops New Song "Rta," Her Father Will Still Sees Her As Emotional Teenager [LISTEN]

Back in January, Willow Smith dropped the EP Interdimensional Tesseract and now she's back with a new track called "Rta," produced by D'artiste. The futuristic soul/chillwave sound on "Rta" follows in the vein of her more recent RZA-influenced material. On the song, she declares she a "goddess" and sings about soulmates, evil, egos, the secrets of her heart, traveling to London, seeing a blackhole, being free, and more.
  • Will Smith Performs "Gettin' Jiggy Wit It" On The Late Show, Tells Letterman The Top 10 Things He'll Miss [WATCH]

Will Smith stopped by The Late Show with David Letterman last night and treated audiences to a performance of his party jam "Gettin' Jiggy Wit It." As he walked onto the stage, the house band played the instrumentals for the song. Instead of sitting down next to Letterman's desk, he made his way over to the band to pick up a mic and rap along. He even included the audience for the "na na na" parts.
  • Jimmy Fallon Parodies 'Fresh Prince' Opening With DJ Jazzy Jeff, Alfonso Ribeiro [WATCH]

Jimmy Fallon gave '90s kids everywhere a huge gift last night, Feb. 2, when he aired a spot-on recreation of the opening credits of "The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air." The hilarious cold opening was done in honor of "The Tonight Show" moving to Los Angeles for a week of West Coast hijinks. DJ Jazzy Jeff and Alfonso Ribeiro make cameos in the skit alongside "Tonight Show" staples The Roots and Steve Higgins. Unfortunately, the Fresh Prince himself, Will Smith, did not make an appearance in the clip, "Rolling Stone" noted.
  • 'Parks and Recreation' Recap & Review: Dennis Feinstein, Perd Hapley and Treat Yo Self 2017!

Parks and Recreation went into unexplored territory last week when they examined what we'll call "bad feelings." Ron Swanson and Leslie Knope had to mend their friendship, which they did, after some betrayals and letting time get in the way of their "work-proximity-associateship" (as Ron so elegantly put it). "Leslie & Ron" was the first standout episode of the season, but now that they're on the same page, there's plenty of room for classic P&R hijinks.
  • DJ Jazzy Jeff Turns 50: Celebrating His Best Contributions to The Fresh Prince, Including "The Magnificent Jazzy Jeff" and "Girls Ain't Nothing But Trouble"

Happy birthday to one of the most underrated figures in hip-hop: Jeffrey Allen Townes AKA DJ Jazzy Jeff. Music Times felt that the DJ deserved a shout-out on his 50th anniversary. How is he one of the most underrated hip-hoppers? For one thing he was the DJ and the guys with the microphones nearly always get an undue level of credit. Secondly, he was the DJ for Will "the Fresh Prince" Smith, who was bound to be the center of attention no matter what he does. Third, Jeff wasn't just a famous DJ...he was a highly influential one as well. Music Times has gathered five songs from the DJ Jazzy Jeff & Fresh Prince catalogue that showcase the other guy in the group.

  • Willow, Jaden Smith's Wacky 'New York Times' Interview

Jaden and Willow Smith's new interview with "The New York Times" is quotable, insightful and, at times, a little crazy. The two offspring of actor/rapper Will Smith have a lot to say about life, but they say it in a way that is fit for someone older and wiser. In the four years since "Whip My Hair," it seems Willow has been studying some really interesting stuff. "When I look back I think, 'Wow, I did so much for young black girls and girls around the world. Telling them that they can be themselves and to not be afraid to be themselves,'" the 14-year-old said. "And I'm doing that now but in a whole different way, coming from [a] source [of] energy and universal truths." The two discussed their creative processes and how Jaden likes to piece things together as opposed to Willow letting the beat inspire her. They also like to collaborate, and apparently they view the partnership in terms of ... chocolate. "Me and Jaden just figured out that our voices sound like chocolate together," Willow said. "As good as chocolate tastes, it sounds that good." The brother and sister also touched on Prana energy, because they know what it is, and related art to shocking people.

  • Will Smith's First Wife Sheree Fletcher Pulls Plug on Marriage to Athlete-Turned-Pastor Terrell Fletcher

If you are a fan of VH1's "Hollywood Exes," then you are already familiar with Sheree Fletcher. She was married to Will Smith from 1992-95 and they share a grown son, Trey. When the reality show first premiered a few years ago, Fletcher was happily married to Terrell Fletcher, a former NFL San Diego Chargers running-back-turned-pastor. This past season, there seemed to be a shift in their relationship, and it has now been confirmed that Sheree has indeed filed for divorce after seven years of marriage to Terrell. According to TMZ, the couple actually separated last July, and in the most recent scenes of "Hollywood Exes" it seemed like there was a chance that a split was coming. It was never exactly said on camera, but Sheree had stepped down from her official duties in Terrell's church and seemed to be moving away from her life with him rather than embracing it.
