  • "John Lennon: The Bermuda Tapes” app now available

    Now this is a music experience app you haven't seen. You can simulate John Lennon's intimate six-day ocean voyage to Bermuda for $4.99. "John Lennon: The Bermuda Tapes" has music, photos, interviews and other interactive features, according to the Associated Press. On this trip Lennon took 6 months before he died, he was inspired to make new music again. Yoko Ono says that the experience he had on the trip "opened up a kind of frozen part of his soul and he started creating."

    Yoko Ono shared her video for "Bad Dancer" today off her latest album Take Me to The Land of Hell. Beastie Boys' Ad-Rock and Mike D (the track's producers) make an appearance as well as Questlove, Reggie Watts, soul singer Roberta Flack, Das Racist's Heems and Deerhoof's Greg Saunier, This American Life host Ira Glass, Cibo Matto's Yuka Honda and Miho Hatori, among others.

    Yoko Ono and her Plastic Ono Band joined forces with the Flaming Lips last night on Late Show With David Letterman. The team performed "Cheshire Cat Cry" off Take Me to the Land of Hell. Ono shouted, "Stop the violence. Stop all wars!" intermittently between bouts of maniacal laughter.
