Chris Young was involved in an issue last week after he was arrested and charged following an alleged altercation at a bar. However, his charges were later dropped after video footage of what truly happened was released to the public. More recently, the country star finally spoke out and addressed the incident.

The singer, who is set to go on tour later this year, took to his official Instagram account to share a video of himself speaking about the arrest incident.

"I just wanted to say something, I'm still processing a lot with the false accusations and everything that went on in the past week, but I wanted to say first and foremost, thank you to everybody that had my back," he said.

Young added that his fans' support meant the world to him and he had so many friends and supporters who reached out to him amid the issue then told him that they didn't believe he did what was initially reported online.

"It's really nice to see the charges get dismissed, not something I wish anybody has to go through," he added.

As a thank you for his fans, the singer will release a new song titled "Double Down."

Chris Young Shares Photo of Injuries

The recent news comes after the musician shared a photo of the injuries that he sustained during the altercation.

Young got the bruises on his back after an officer pushed him backwards which caused him to fall down and hit the corner of the bar.

The image of his injuries shows that he has dark bruises, one on his right arm, and another one on his lower back, which is near the spinal area.

"Waaaaaay too close to my spine," he wrote in the caption. (via Taste of Country)

Later on, the comment section of his post was bombarded by fans who told him he should sue the officers who did that to him, but he has yet to confirm if he'll take a legal action regarding the matter.

What Happened to Chris Young?

Chris Young was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct after allegedly assaulting an agent of the Tennessee Alcoholic Beverage Commission or TABC.

Initial reports state that the musician allegedly put his hands to stop the agent to prevent him from leaving the bar. It was also claimed that he struck the agent on the shoulder.

However, video footage later revealed that there was a completely different story as he never struck any of the agents, but rather, he was shoved and knocked on the floor.
