Roc Nation has been holding Pre-Grammy brunches since 2011. They halted for two years during the pandemic and has only returned last year, 2023.

Roc Nation Cancels Pre-Grammy Brunch

According to Page Six, insiders noted that Beyonce and Jay-Z, the hosts of the Roc Nation Pre-Grammy Brunch wouldn't be hosting their own party, but will only be mere attendees.

Sources revealed that the couple is expected to arrive at the Clive Davis Pre-Grammy Awards Gala on Saturday, Feb. 3, 2024, to support one of the awardees. Sony Music Publishing CEO Jon Platt will be honored at the Clive Davis Pre-Grammy Salute to Industry Icons.

Festivities leading to the 66th Annual Grammy Awards have kickstarted earlier this week. Stars have started attending various Pre-Grammy parties of Amazon Music, Billboard, and the Black Music Coalition.

2024 Grammy Week Events

The Recording Academy and The Black Music Collective announced that Mariah Carey and Lenny Kravitz will be receiving the Global Impact Award at this year's Black Music Collective event in Los Angeles. The award was presented last year to Dr. Dre, Lil Wayne, Missy Elliott, and Epic Records CEO Sylvia Rhone.

A Grammy U Masterclass will be held tomorrow, Feb. 2, 2024, along with the Entertainment Law Initiative at the Beverly Wilshire Hotel and the MusiCares event at the Los Angeles Convention Center. The "UnitedMasters: A Celebration of Independence" event will be held at the Hollywood Palladium on the same day in the evening. (via GRAMMYs)

The Special Merits Awards Ceremony takes place the day after (Feb 3) in Los Angeles at the Wilshire Ebell Theatre in the afternoon as the Clive Davis Pre-Grammy Gala in the evening at The Beverly Hilton.

On Feb. 4, 2024, the 2024 Grammy Awards Premiere Ceremony starts at the Peacock Theatre while the Telecast is at Crypto.com Arena in the evening. Justin Tranter will be hosting the Premiere Ceremony while Trevor Noah returns as a host on the live telecast.

SZA leads the nominations in nine categories, followed by Boygenius and Victoria Monet and producer Serban Ghenea with seven each.

Meanwhile, the race for the top prize of the night, the Grammy Award for Album of the Year is stacked. While Taylor Swift's "Anti-Hero" is pressed to win, she would have to beat Boygenius' "The Record," Jon Batiste's "World Music Radio," Olivia Rodrigo's "Vampire," Janelle Monae's "The Age of Pleasure," SZA's "SOS," Lana Del Rey's "Did You Know That There's a Tunnel Under Ocean Blvd," and Miley Cyrus' "Endless Summer Vacation."
