Toby Keith released what would have been his final social media post a day before his death.

On Monday, February 5, Keith's family released a statement confirming the country singer's passing at the age of 62. While he had been battling stomach cancer for two years, his death shocked his followers as he remained positive in the last Instagram post he shared.

Toby Keith's Final Instagram Post

A day before his death, his official Instagram page uploaded a video from his one of his recent concerts at Dolby Live at Park MGM in Las Vegas. Keith performed at the venue on December 10, 11 and 14, and all of the shows were sold-out.

It captioned the post, "And that's a wrap on the weekend, y'all. Back to it."

Keith's positive spirit had always been up despite his own battle. In fact, he shared his hope with cancer-stricken children when he partnered with TouchTunes in June 2023.

According to PR Newswire's official website, Keith and TouchTunes' partnership focused on creating the exclusive artist-curated playlist, "Toby Keith Presents: Made In America."

"'Toby Keith Presents: Made In America' consists of some his biggest hits including his classic patriotic songs and picks from some of the country's greatest artists," the post said. "It's a good time listening party for the holiday weekend."

Keith raised money through the project and gave the proceeds to The Toby Keith Foundation's OK Kids Korral, which provides state-of-the-art facilities for children diagnosed with cancer and their families.

In addition, the crooner supported Change Kids Health and asked fans to donate to their member children's hospitals to help young people suffering from different illnesses.
