Ashanti cannot resist teasing her boyfriend Nelly after the latter lost a tooth over the weekend. Sometimes, it is really just the simple things that make us warm and gooey inside.
The "Happy" singer received a FaceTime call from the "Hot in Herre" rapper, who was upset over breaking his tooth during Super Bowl weekend in Las Vegas. Instead of getting the comfort he's been seeking, Ashanti found it humorous.
Pregnant Ashanti burst out laughing as soon as she noticed Nelly poking his tongue into the space left by his missing tooth. In the video, he informed her partner, "I knocked my goddamn tooth out of my mouth," and shared it on Instagram. Through her non-stop laughter, the R&B singer asked, "Babe, where is it?" and "Where are the spares?"
She said, "I had some spares for you," in response to Nelly's insistence that he doesn't store extra teeth, and advised seeing a mobile dentist.
"You still love me?" the Ride Wit Me actor enquired. Ashanti gave him the reassurance, "Yes, of course." Afterwards, she said, he "still look(s) cute."

After dating briefly from 2003 to 2013, Nelly and Ashanti resumed their relationship last year, going official on Instagram in October.
It is thought that this is the couple's is expecting their first kid together.
While Nelly, 49, shares a son, Cornell Haynes III, 24, and a daughter, Chanelle, 29, with her former partner Channetta Valentine, this is Ashanti's first child.
When Ashanti, 43, and her companion went to Nelly's Black and White Ball in St. Louis one weekend, it quickly raised rumors that she was pregnant. The "Only U" singer placed her hand on her stomach during the event while performing with Nelly, and he reciprocated.
In a fan video that TMZ posted, the couple can be seen laughing heartily after appearing to imply that they are planning to grow their family.
When Ashanti, 43, showed up for Nelly's Black and White Ball in St. Louis in December, she aroused rumors that she was pregnant. She put her hands on her stomach during a collaborative performance on stage, and Nelly did the same.
Nelly, 49, and his former partner Channetta Valentine are also parents to two children: Cornell, 24, and Chanelle, 29.
