Lindsay Lohan has two studio albums and six singles, but her career in the music industry didn't last as long as her work as an actress. More recently, Kelly Clarkson encouraged her to return, but will she work on new music soon?

The actress recently appeared on Kelly Clarkson's talk show with Ayesha Curry to promote her new movie, "Irish Wish," available to stream on Netflix.

The "American Idol" winner asked the "Freaky Friday" star if she would be open to reviving her music career again; Lohan answered, "I don't know."

Clarkson later offered some words of encouragement for the actress as she said, "I feel like we were at the same time in a certain part of our career, so I was like, 'Oh man... I wonder if she's gonna come out with more music.' Anyway, you should." (via People Magazine)

Lohan thanked the singer and told her that she appreciated her advice.
