The highly anticipated "Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour" arrived at Disney+ for subscribers after being available for purchase on demand on other streaming platforms.
'Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour' Becomes Most Watched Music Film on Disney+
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Taylor Swift's "Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour" recorded more than 16 million hours of viewing over its first three days on the platform.
In its opening weekend, it raked in 4.6 million views worldwide, making it the No. 1 music film ever on Disney+.
The 4.6 million views worldwide translates into 16.2 million hours (or 972 million minutes) of viewing time in all countries where Disney+ was available, inside and outside the United States.
The publication noted that the recent debut of "Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour" on Disney+ crushed other films that Disney+ recently added. "Little Mermaid" only racked up 16 million views, while "Elemental" had 26.4 million in five days.
"Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour" on Disney+ differs from the theatrical release due to the inclusion of performances of "Cardigan" and four acoustic songs: "Maroon," "Death by a Thousand Cuts," "You Are in Love," and "I Can See You."

Justin Bieber previously held the spot for years with "Never Say Never," but since Taylor Swift came blazing out with "The Eras Tour" documentary, she might have the title for years and possibly decades.
It's not surprising, given how many fans attended the actual tour.
It was nominated for a Golden Globe in Cinematic and Box-Office Achievement, an inaugural award given to "the year's most acclaimed, highest-earning and/or most viewed films that have garnered extensive global audience support and attained cinematic excellence."
Taylor's "The Eras Tour" is the highest-grossing concert tour of all time, with outlets projecting her overall sales to $2 billion after she finishes her 152-date trek worldwide. She's on a break from touring after completing the Asian leg of the tour, but will restart the trek in Europe in May.
