The Wanted singer Tom Parker passed away in March 2022 due to glioblastoma brain cancer, leaving behind his wife Kelsey and their two children Aurelia and Bodhi.

"We still talk about Tom every day, I wrote a book so the kids can read about him," the single mother said. "For my kids, they will be able to see what I went through and see more about our relationship."

Kelsey shared her experience and how she copes with the death of the singer ahead of Wear a Hat Day, the Brain Tumor Research's annual fundraising event to "bring hope to brain tumor patients and their families."

In the interview, she revealed that she was 35 weeks pregnant with their youngest child when Parker was diagnosed.

"It ripped our whole family apart, just surviving on my own and being the mum and the dad is so tough," she added.

Tom Parker's Widow Celebrates Late Singer's Life

Despite the tragedy the Parker family faced, Kelsey looks for the silver lining and turns to music, which was the late singer's passion.

"I do find music quite painful to listen to; having two young kids and being a solo parent we talk about Tom all the time to keep his memory alive."

On the second anniversary of his death, Kelsey paid tribute to Parker through her social media, where she explained that he "watches" over them, she admits that his physical absence is "so huge" and his death has heavily impacted their lives.

"I miss his banter and his laugh so much. I'd do anything to have one more day with him. I think about him every single day, and I think March will always be a difficult month."
