Keyshia Cole has always had the gift of sharing her pain through music, and she is revisiting an old fan favorite while singing her heart out on "Remember (Part 2)," a sequel to her 2007 single "I Remember."

On her newest single, Cole, currently going through a divorce, passionately sings about falling out of love with her estranged husband Daniel "Boobie" Gibson.

"I don't know if I even miss you / Don't want to kiss you / How can you love somebody and everything just changes?" she asks in the song. "I just can't take no more, it's not meant to be / Just not meant to be."

The release of the single also comes days after Cole was arrested for assaulting a woman inside rumored boyfriend Birdman's condominium.

Though neither Cole nor Birdman have publicly addressed the incident, the "Let It Go" songstress has thrown out a few subliminal messages on Instagram.

She recently posted a photo that reads, "And finally you realize...You can't force 'it' to be something. You can't force consistency, loyalty or even honesty...You can't force them to keep their word, or to communicate, or to realize something special is in front of them..."

Cole's heartfelt ballad "Remember (Part 2)" will be featured on her sixth album, Point of No Return. The album, slated to be released Oct. 7, features guest spots by Juicy J, 2 Chainz, Future and more.

As previously reported, she will also return to BET in a six-episode reality series chronicling her struggles with marriage, motherhood and work.
