In order to be cast on any of Bravo's Real Housewives shows, you have to be ready to bring some drama to the table. They are not looking for boring women to chew scenery — instead, they hire cast members who are outspoken and not afraid to air dirty laundry. Aviva Drescher survived two seasons of The Real Housewives of New York before being fired. Apparently, she was too much trouble for producers to handle, and that is saying a lot for a show that thrives on drama. She has said that reailty TV has ruined her marriage, but plans to work things out with her husband on another such show. If you are a Drescher fan, then you will be thrilled to hear that she has signed on to do the upcoming season of Marriage Boot Camp: Reality Stars.

According to sources close to Drescher and her banker husband Reid, their marriage is a mess primarily because of her obsession with fame. It sounds like this is another reality star that has set Google alerts for herself and turns everything into an overblown problem. Supposedly, Drescher is blaming being on reality television for their issues and has decided that the best way to work things out with Reid is on another show.

Rather than sitting down behind closed doors, Drescher would rather collect a check while letting cameras capture her therapeutic moments on Marriage Boot Camp: Reality Stars. Reid is apparently desperate enough to get through to his wife that he is willing to do this show in the hopes that something good will come from it.

Isn't it a bit crazy to blame television for your problems and then decide to try and fix things on camera?

Do you think Dresher got a taste of fame thanks to the Housewives and is now willing to stoop to any level to keep herself on television? Many fans were glad when her firing from RHONY was confirmed. Are you happy Bravo cut Drescher from its payroll? Tell us your thoughts in the comments below!
