Suge Knight was shot at a 2014 pre-MTV VMA nightclub party in August and survived some life-threatening injuries, but now the former Death Row CEO faces theft charges as he has been arrested with comedian Katt Williams for stealing a photographer's camera.

According to Vibe, Knight and Williams were arrested Wednesday, Oct. 29, for an incident that took place Sept. 5 in Beverly Hills, outside a studio.

Williams was reportedly taken into custody after he arrived in court on a unrelated assault charge. Knight was arrested in Las Vegas. Both men were charged with one count of second-degree robbery. Considering both men have lengthy rap sheets, Williams may face up to seven years in prison if convicted, and Knight may serve 30 years to life.

As far as the shooting incident, TMZ reported that law enforcement officials have "reviewed security cameras and spoken to multiple witnesses of the August shooting at 1Oak, and while they are confident they have identified the suspect responsible for shooting Suge and two others — they still don't have enough evidence to arrest the suspect."

An uncooperative witness has made it difficult to make an arrest.

As previously reported, Knight was shot in the stomach and arm around 1:30 a.m. Aug. 24, at West Hollywood nightclub 1Oak. A 32-year-old man and a 19-year-old woman were also wounded and taken to the hospital to recover. The shooting took place at a party hosted by Chris Brown.

The news outlet also pointed out that this is the second time Knight has been shot at a Video Music Awards-related party. Back in 2005, he was shot in the leg at a party hosted by Kanye West.
