Aesop Rock is the latest to get a release out on the 2015 board with his new Cat Food EP.

A quick two tracks, "Cat Food" and "Bug Zapper" further support the notion that quality is always better than quantity, as both tracks are polished and exciting creations from the Rhymesayers artist.

The two songs were originally released as a 7-inch vinyl and are now available in a digital format via Rhymesayer's SoundCloud.

The Cat Food EP is the first new solo material the artist has put out in some time, mainly focusing on making music for other artists. The tracks on The Cat Food EP are also available in an instrumental-only version, which most fans can always appreciate.

November saw the release of Aesop's Hail Mary Mallon project with the album Bestiary.

Aesop Rock also was featured on Busdriver's "Ego Death" alongside Danny Brown.

Aesop Rock produced "Bug Zapper" and called in the likes of Blockhead to produce "Cat Food."

While Aesop Rock kept a relatively low profile in 2014, he still found himself winning the title of "rapper with the largest vocabulary" earlier in the year. As reported, Aesop was the frontrunner by such a long shot that if the author adjusted the accompanying graphic to scale, Aesop would literally fall off the chart.

GZA ranked in at second place — only factoring in his solo work — with 6,426 words. Other members of Wu-Tang Clan ranked in the top 10, but Aesop still had the most impressive range and variety. These two tracks are also littered with an interesting and impressive range of vocabulary, helping support the rapper's reputation as a wordsmith.

According to the survey, Aesop Rock used 7,392 unique words, and "Cat Food" and "Bug Zapper" were littered with a handful of new, interesting and impressive vocabulary.
