Rush is 40 years into its career, but the Canadian rock band is still a group of working men. Today (Jan. 22), in celebration of its 40th anniversary, Rush announced a celebratory tour, fittingly titled the R40 Live Tour.
Rush is planning the expansive tour for March through August, playing 34 dates in 34 cities across the United States and Canada. Starting off May 8 in Tulsa, Oklahoma, Rush will play consistently every other day with a one week break at the top of the month throughout the summer, before wrapping things up on Aug. 1 at The Forum in Los Angeles.
Forty years after first forming, touring is no foreign concept to Rush. According to the tour announcement on the band's website, R40 will mark its 21st career tour.
Tickets for R40 will go on sale Jan. 30.
