In the most recent episode of RHOA, fans of the show learned just how bad Phaedra Parks was feeling about her relationship with Kandi Burruss. Over the years the two have been really tight, but it seems like Apollo Nida has managed to wreck a bit of havoc between them. Before he went off to jail, Nida insisted that Parks was having an affair and offered up text messages that supposedly proved it. When Parks was confronted with the accusations, Burruss did not immediately jump to her defense and that upset Parks a lot. It seems Buress was the last one to know that her friend was even upset with her.
After particularly explosive episodes, the ladies often take to their Bravo blogs to discuss what went down on camera, and Burruss did just that. She explained why she did not jump into the mix when accusations were flying.
"I thought it was a waste of my time, but that's because I didn't know what Phaedra was saying behind my back. It's crazy watching the show and hearing Porsha and Phaedra discuss how I'm not a friend and that I'm siding with Apollo because my husband and Apollo are friends, and blah, blah, blah. At the time that they had that conversation, I didn't even know Phaedra had a problem with me like that. I have argued with Todd defending Phaedra. I have defended Phaedra when Apollo came around talking B.S. to everyone about their relationship," explained Burruss.
Burruss had said she had heard the cheating allegations before everyone else because her husband was friends with Nida. She never actually said she thought Parks was innocent even when saying that she has defended her. Meanwhile, Parks has come out and repeatedly said that Nida fabricated everything. He has such a strong history of lying to this group of people, why do you think they seemed to believe anything that he was saying before he went away?
