• 'RHOA' Phaedra Parks to File for Divorce From Apollo Nida

The season of 'RHOA' currently airing on Bravo has been filled with emotional upheaval for Phaedra Parks. The cameras have rolled as her soon-to-be-ex-husband, Apollo Nida, has intimidated, threatened and lied about her before finally beginning to serve an eight-year prison sentence for fraud. In many scenes you can just feel Parks's fear and discomfort without her needing to verbalize it, and it is a relief to finally arrive at the point where she is ready to file for divorce. In Bravo's preview clip for tonight's new 'Real Housewives of Atlanta' episode March 22, Parks explains she believed Nida was a changed man, which is why she built a life with him.
  • 'RHOA' Kandi Burruss the Last to Know Her Friendship With Phaedra Parks Was in Trouble

In the most recent episode of 'RHOA,' fans of the show learned just how bad Phaedra Parks was feeling about her relationship with Kandi Buress. Over the years the two have been really tight, but it seems like Apollo Nida has managed to wreck a bit of havoc between them. Before he went off to jail, Nida insisted that Parks was having an affair and offered up text messages that supposedly proved it. When Parks was confronted with the accusations, Burruss did not immediately jump to her defense and that upset Parks a lot. It seems Burruss was the last one to know that her friend was even upset with her.
  • Government Demanding Bravo Pay Up on Behalf of Fired, Imprisoned 'RHOA' Star Apollo Nida

Apollo Nida may be locked away for the next eight years in prison, but his presence is still being felt at Bravo. Before he turned himself in to authorities back in September, Nida was a cast member of 'RHOA' and was unhappily married to Phaedra Parks. While he was technically fired from the show, the government still wants Bravo to pay up on his behalf.
