Ludaversal rapper Ludacris will join Chrissy Teigen to co-host the 2015 Billboard Music Awards May 17. As Ludacris fans wait for the drop of Ludaversal, expected to be released tomorrow, March 31, the rapper has signed on to host the Billboard Music Awards once again after hosting the previous year. He expressed his excitement to Billboard.

"I had so much fun hosting the Billboard Music Awards last year and I can't wait to be back!" he said.

Ludacris recently released his first music video off his new album for "Call Ya Bluff" off Ludaversal. In an interview with Time, the rapper agreed that Ludaversal may be his heaviest one yet.

"Hell yeah. Over the last seven albums I've given bits and pieces of my personal life, but I've never 100 percent really let people in on my life," Ludacris told Time. "Like the song about my father and his alcoholism -- I'm really just being very vulnerable here. That's why it's called Ludaversal -- welcome to my world."

He also explained why opening up about his father and his father's alcoholism was the hardest topic to address in this album.

"That right there, because I wanted to do my father justice once I realized that there could be other people going through the same thing that I went through with my father," he said. "It's really encouraging people to make sure you love your parents -- and make sure you tell them that you love them -- because you never know when they could be gone."

Ludacris's co-host Teigen shared his excitement in hosting the upcoming awards show. In true comedic Teigen fashion, the supermodel and wife of John Legend told Billboard, "If my extensive collection of all 53 Now That's What I Call Music compilations is any indication, I am both qualified and honored to join Ludacris in hosting this amazing show that spotlights the best music and artists of the year."

The award show finalists will be announced April 7, according to Billboard. The 2015 Billboard Music Awards will air May 17 on ABC.
