Singer Alessia Cara spent the night of Halloween on the 1989 World Tour stage for a duet with pop star Taylor Swift of the 19-year-old's latest hit track, "Here." Following the performance in Florida, Swift and Cara spent more time together as the "Wildest Dreams" artist interviewed the Canadian singer-songwriter, where she admitted to crying after the duo's performance.

According to Billboard, part 1 of the Yahoo! filmed interview series was posted today, showcasing Swift questioning Cara on her 1989 performance and how she felt taking the stage in front of 55,000 fans the same night she and Idina Menzel took on "Let It Go." "I went to my dressing room and I bawled my eyes out because of you, so thank you for making me cry," Cara responded in the video interview.

Alessia further admitted that the music video for "Here" closely imitated real life. She decided to gather her closest friends who attended the original failed celebration to re-imagine the "horrible party" she sings of on the track. "I thought they were going to be offended, but they were like 'Yes, music video, we support you.' And they waited all day just to film a 10 second scene," Cara revealed to Swift. "I really wanted to re-create it."

The "Bad Blood" singer, known for dressing in flashy, sequined outfits for her 1989 tour, complimented Cara on keeping her look simple yet classic with a leather jacket and a pair of ripped jeans. "I think it's something that's always been important to me - the music first," Cara detailed. "I wanted it to be about the music. So, when I would go around and play for labels ... trying to get signed, I just made it a point to say this is who I am, I dressed the way I would normally dress. And I just wanted to find a label that would accept me for that, so they wouldn't try to mold me into anything."

Eventually signing with Def Jam Records, Cara just released her first, full-length LP Know-It-All, which saw official release on November 13.
