Drake's highly-anticipated new album Views from the 6 will officially hit airwaves in April. After music producer Noah "40" Shebib confirmed the exciting news, Drizzy shared this viral Instagram update:

APRIL

According to Shebib (ecumenicalnews.com):

"The time will come when Drake's ready to pull the trigger, but for us it's just a balance of finding that space to make such a project that's based around our city, and then also we come out here and escape some of the harsh winter and find a good creative space."

The YMCMB superstar announced the making of his highly-anticipated fourth studio record back in 2014. Not many details have since been released, except for the lead single "Summer Sixteen" -

Several fans are pumped to see what might come next:

lamishasaurus: "I'll be on the look out!"

haileyc_: "Like it better happen I can't take the lies anymore."

gracie.cuba: "THATS NEXT MONTH."

c_rob_5: "Man we so close..."

allenmanshoory: "what's GOOD."

champagnebabygirl: "finally..."

And despite constant feuding with both Meek Mill and Charlamagne Tha God, neither one has commented on the "Hotline Bling" emcee's big news. According to the popular "Breakfast Club" host, the OVO hypeman definitely needs to up his game if he wants to keep the "lead" over Nicki Minaj's boyfriend.

"I thought Meek Mill's newest diss record was fire, and I thought it was six months too late," he explains. "It sounds like Meek was replying directly to him" (via VladTV).

But fellow hip-hop superstar iLoveMakonnen strongly believes that the Toronto native won't disappoint:

"I hear so many songs that were going on there, and then it's like sh*t came out four months ago or something. I was like, 'Oh, I thought that was going to go on... It's definitely a good album though. I'm nervous" (via Montreality).

Stay tuned for any further updates!
