On August 10, Monday, Cardi B shared a series of tweets defending Kylie Jenner. The reality show star had made a surprise appearance in the music for Cardi B and Megan Thee Stallion's latest track, "WAP."

It started when Danielle Young, a writer, producer, and host, quote tweeted a tweet made by singer Jessie Woo. The original tweet shows a video of Norami from the music video dancing. Danielle Young compared Normani, who did a whole choreography while Kendall Jenner's appearance entailed her opening a door and doing a catwalk. She claimed that those two scenes are perfect examples of black women "having to do the most" and white women having to do "the bare minimum to get somewhere."Cardi B Kylie

She went on to say that not everything is about race; there are numerous issues in the world that involve race that Cardi B speaks out and preaches about all the time. However, she reiterates that Kylie Jenner and Normani's scenes in the "WAP" music video have nothing to do with their races.Cardi B Kylie
She then goes on to answer the question most people wanted an answer to - why did Cardi B add Kylie Jenner to her new music video? She said that Kylie Jenner had treated Cardi B's sister and daughter well during her child's birthday party. She also reveals that Travis Scott and Offset, Kylie Jenner's ex-boyfriend and father to her child Stormi and Cardi B's husband, respectively, are close friends. She also said that Kris Jenner, Kylie Jenner's mother, has given her advice when asked for.Cardi B Kylie
She defended Kylie Jenner is another quote tweet. A fan had stated that Normani dance because that's her talent, and Kylie Jenner strutted like a model because that's her talent. Cardi B quote tweeted that tweet with one world: "Exactly."The music video for "WAP" was released on August 7, Saturday, and has since dominated the charts worldwide. In just 24 hours, the music video garnered 26.6 million views, making it the biggest debut for an all-female collaboration on YouTube. It has topped the music charts in all major American streaming platforms.

Recently, a petition to remove Kylie Jenner from the "WAP" music video has reached over 50,000 signatures. Numerous reasons were made as to why they wanted the youngest Jenner out of the music video, including the reality star's cameo, not adding much to the video's concept. One other reason is how Kylie Jenner had unfollowed Megan Thee Stallion following her shooting incident with Tory Lanez. Megan had expressed sadness over a betrayal from a once close friend. However, it is not confirmed if it's Kylie Jenner or if the reality show star had unfollowed Megan Thee Stallion in relation to the incident.
