Justin Bieber took the world by storm in 2009 after he debuted fresh-faced and young with "One Time."

In 2007, the Canada-born star participated in a local singing competition and placed second. His mom Pattie later posted a video of his performance on YouTube so their friends and family who weren't able to watch Justin perform live could watch it on their screens.

But it wasn't the only video she uploaded. Pattie also uploaded other homemade videos of her son who performed popular R&B songs and sometimes, Justin occasionally accompanied himself on guitar.

They later attracted beyond their original intended audience, including music promoter and talent agent Scooter Braun, who immediately invited the 13-year-old Justin Bieber to record demos at an Atlanta Studio, and while there, encountered Usher and arranged an informal audition with him.

The rest was history.

Justin topped the charts back then more than 10 years later, continues to do so.

Here are the top 10 of Justin Bieber's greatest songs of all time.

Stay

Though Justin Bieber is only a feature on the song by The Kid LAROI, the song "Stay" made it to the #1 position in several music charts.

The song is about apologizing to their significant others for the bad things they've done to their previous partners.

The song is like a broken record because the singers promised the same thing several hundred times that they would be better.

Despacito

"Descpacito" is another Justin Bieber global hit song that topped the charts, featuring a Spanish-English mix of lyrics and Puerto Rican pop artist Luis Fonsi and rapper Daddy Yankee.

The song which featured Justin was released in April 2017, though the original without him was released three months earlier.

Because of this song, saw Justin overtake the previous record he held for his other song, "Sorry."

The song is pretty saucy because "Despacito" means "slowly," with the lyrics in English translates to, "Slowly / I want to breathe in your neck slowly / Let me murmur things in your ear / So that you remember if you're not with me."

Sorry

The song was released in 2015 and it is about his regret for something he has done wrong. The song is about his ex-girlfriend Selena Gomez.

They had a rough time in 2013 and 2014 and by releasing the song, he's ready to apologize and start a fresh start with everyone.

Love Yourself

"Love Yourself" immediately reached #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 and stayed there for 41 weeks. The song was written by Ed Sheeran.

Ed reportedly gave Justin the song because it was "too personal" and "harsh."

What Do You Mean?

The song was released by Justin Bieber in August 2015.

During an interview with Ellen DeGeneres to perform the song, he said that this song along with some other songs on his "Purpose" album, was about his former girlfriend Selena Gomez.

The song was reportedly the fastest song to reach #1 on iTunes after its release, while it was streamed 21 million times in just five days in the week-one record.

Stuck With U

This song was in collaboration with Ariana Grande. This was one of the very first songs that capture the feeling of being in quarantine with a loved one, as this was released during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020.

I Don't Care

"I Don't Care" was released in collaboration with Ed Sheeran.

The song's lyrics focus on the difficulties of being more introverted and social anxiety, but in the end, find relief from the anxiety thanks to their lovers.

With their lover, they don't feel out of place and feel like they belong.

Boyfriend

"Boyfriend" is about a form of love proposal where Justin Bieber tells a potential girlfriend all the things he could offer if she accepts him as her lover.

It was reportedly written after Justin and Selena broke up and she allegedly told him that he wasn't strong enough.

Yummy

"Yummy" was his first single off of his album "Changes" in 2020, five years after his previous album.

The song talks about his early stages of dating and relationship with Hailey Baldwin where they wasted no time getting to know each other.

The song lyrics get repetitive and don't say much but the lyrics seem to be an ode to their young love.
