Young Thug is considering retiring from music.

Because LaKevia Jackson was fatally shot at a bowling alley last week, the rapper recently stated that he will give up music and retire in order to devote more time to his children.

In an interview with Complex magazine, the "Gang Up" hitmaker described rap as a "young man's game" and stated that he intended to retire to focus on other ventures.

The rapper, real name Jeffery Lamar Williams, enquired, "Why would I want to record records at the age of 45 or 50? When I'm 50, I'll realize that 80 percent of the world's population is between the ages of 15 and 24."

Over the years, Young Thug fathered six children with four different women.

The 30-year-old Atlanta, Georgia native grew up as one of 11 children in a huge household.

Young Thug stated that, while he may not be working on full-length records until his mid-40s, he will continue to make tracks if the appropriate opportunities arise.

According to Travis Scott's collaborator, "I'd rather start doing something different. It's not really about anyone else; it's just about myself, my ethics, and how I want to be perceived."

He noted that he had "other s-t to do," including his children, who will require more attention from him in the coming years.

LaKevia Jackson, who was Young Thug's baby mama, was who?

When a bowling alley patron reportedly killed LaKevia Jackson, tragedy struck. Before the murder on March 17, they were apparently embroiled in an argument over a bowling ball.

According to CBS46, LaKevia's mother confirmed her death.

"A fight over the bowling ball occurred, then the suspect waited 20 minutes in the parking lot for LaKevia before shooting her as she was leaving."

Young Thug, on the other hand, has not commented on the loss.

Although no one has been arrested as a result of what occurred, the Atlanta Police Department believes they are close to solving the case.

TMZ reported that when police arrived on the scene, LaKevia was already dead and appeared to have suffered from many gunshot wounds.

Meanwhile, a Young Thug spokesman reportedly informed WPLG that the rapper is focusing on his grief and would not be issuing a statement.
