Andrea Bocelli had an impressive stage performance that left royal family members and royal fans emotional.

On Saturday, the Platinum Party in the Palace successfully celebrated a new milestone in Queen Elizabeth II's life as a Queen. The event attracted over 13.4 million viewers, per BBC.

It then became the most-watched program of the year so far after having a 74.3 percent share of the audience.

Among the performers, Bocelli sang a stunning rendition of Nessun Dorma that made fans and royal family members emotional. It is an aria from the final act of Giacomo Puccini's opera Turandot alongside a house choir.

Since the 1990 World Cup in Italy, it has become the soundtrack to English football.

He followed performances from Adam Lambert + Queen, Rod Stewart, George Ezra, Sir Andrew Lloyd-Webber, and Sam Ryder. However, viewers believed that Bocelli's performance became the highlight of the party.

"Andrea Bocelli just casually sweeping in to steal the show. What an absolute hero he is. Godly voice. Goosebumps," one said (per Express UK), with another adding: "Not the first time the Italians stole the show in London in the last 12 months, Bocelli, simply stunning."

Andrea Bocelli's Performance More Emotional Because of THIS

What made Bocelli's performance more touching was the fact that his family recently dealt with a tragic loss.

On Instagram, the crooner confirmed that his mother, Edi Aringhieri Bocelli, died.

"She left her earthly home after a long, extraordinary life to join her beloved husband, Sandro, in Heaven. All our hearts are with Andrea and Veronica, Alberto and Cinzia, and the entire Bocelli family at this time," the post said.

The family added that those people who wished to pay tribute can make donations to the ABF or any charitable institution.
