While NAV was stuck at home because of the Covid-19 pandemic, he was busy writing and producing music. He's now back with "Wrong Decisions," a track off his upcoming album.
Produced and directed by the Canadian rapper, the "Wrong Decisions" song and music video are essentially about his career highs and lows.
NAV, born Navraj Singh Goraya, began his career in 2015 as a co-producer for Drake's "Back To Back." Since then, he has released three albums, with the fourth "Demons Protected By Angels" coming soon.

'Wrong Decisions'?
It seems that his career, albeit short compared to others, is no walk in the park. The mellow track opens with NAV rapping, "Had to get it all by myself, I ain't have a choice, when you got nobody around, it's hard to enjoy."
"My heart been filled with pain, I just cover it up in Dior, sittin' courtside at the game, thinkin' 'bout my problems on the floor."
Meanwhile, the music video is equally mellow and a bit somber. It follows NAV mostly by his lonesome, reflective of the lyrics of the track.
This left fans touched and surprised with Nav's vulnerability with the self-produced track. "Nothing's better than feeling involved with NAV. It's only music, but it means a lot more than just that," a user commented.
"I heard the pure emotions coming from his words. I cried deep emotional tears and realized at that very moment I could make something of myself. I turned my life around and became a very cool person, and broke out of my shell. He saved me," commented a fan who was deeply moved by the song.

NAV shared with Zane Lowe on Apple Music 1 that "Wrong Decisions" is one of the first songs he made over the quarantine, "I just took my time during quarantine... honing in on my production and skills and here it is," NAV said of the track.
He explained the process behind creating the track, "I try to make sure that I please every part of my fan base - the OG fans they want an OG sound, so I give them the OG sound with this song, and then we still want the turn-up songs for the club, and we still want the sad songs for when you're by yourself and the girl songs for the girls."
Prior to releasing "Wrong Decisions," NAV dropped "Never Sleep" with Travis Scott and Lil Baby. This song will also be included in "Demons Protected by Angels" and was produced by Tay Keith and Grayson with co-production from Mike Dean, reports say.
NAV's last album was "Good Intentions," released in 2020, and "Bad Habits," released in 2019. These albums catapulted the rapper to the top of the Billboard Top 100, with over nine billion global streams.
