Not everyone was pleased with her show as one fan criticized the musician for performing in "someone's backyard."
Cardi B did not hold back and responded to the user by sharing how much she was paid to do a show in front of 400 people for over 35 minutes.
"I got paid 1 million dollars to perform at this elite bankers private event for 400 people and only for 35 minutes.... THINK ABOUT THAT WHEN YOU TYPE ABOUT THIS GRAMMY WINNER," the rapper wrote.
The interaction had been since deleted, but was reposted by Pop Crave on Twitter.
Her performance wasn't the only thing criticized that evening as many users also took a dig at her outfit during the performance.
The "Bodak Yellow" hitmaker then explained that she was wearing a custom Jean Paul Gaultier look and it represents the "purest form of women's bodies."
