Sophie Lloyd has remained quiet on social media after many fans suggested that she was the reason behind Machine Gun Kelly and Megan Fox's split until recently, the musician's team issued a statement to clarify the rumors swirling around the internet.

The guitarist's management team spoke to Page Six to speak out on the matter, saying Lloyd is a professional musician who has been "dragged into the media based off of meritless accusations made by social media."

The team also noted any suggestion from the public that she has ever been unfaithful to her current partner or has ever acted unprofessionally is not true.

Concluding their remarks, the team said, "It's disrespectful to her as a female artist and poor journalism and social commentary to be reporting anything else."
