Leslie Jordan died last October 2022, but the mystery of his cause of death was finally solved recently, which caused a second wave of tributes dedicated to him.

The Grand Ole Opry honored the singer-comedian over the weekend, and it saw a star-studded performance from some of country music's biggest stars as well as some comedians.

Among the attendees was singer-songwriter, Tanya Tucker: "He was a light in my life. "I'll always remember his laughter."

Even Dolly Parton, who was not able to attend the gathering, shared honored Jordan through a video, You left a lot of people here with a lot of precious, precious memories,"

Everybody loves you, but I doubt that many of them loved you more than I did."

Fellow comedian Leanne Morgan also took the stage and paid tribute to the late Emmy winner: "I'm sure he is all smiles knowing he brought together the most eclectic group of people to ever grace the Opry stage."

Star-Studded Tribute Performance

According to Billboard, the Grand Ole Opry was filled with songs dedicated and sang in honor of Jordan.

Travis Howard performed a medley of "I'll Fly Away," 'I Saw the Light," and "When the Roll is Call Up Yonder."

Ashley McBryde sang "Girl Going' Nowhere," while Maren Morris and Ryan Harud sang "What Would This World Do."

Fancy Haygoood teamed up with John Osborne to perform "Go Rest on that Mountain," HARDY sang "give Heaven Some Hell," Ruby Amanfu sang 'How Beautiful You Are."

Katie Pruitt performed the classing children's song "This Little Light of Mine," Brittney Spencer sang "Sober and Skinny," while Jake Wesley Rogers performed "Jacob from the Bible."

Jordan's Cause of Death

According to the Associated Press, the "Will & Grace" star died from natural causes, and not because of what many suspected was a car accident.

The late singer-comedian died at age 67 because of a sudden cardiac dysfunction because of arteriosclerotic cardiovascular disease, the coroner medical examiner from Los Angeles County confirmed.

Jordan began his acting career in the 1980s, debuting in the adventure series "The Fall Guy."

He appeared in other films and shows like "Ugly Betty," "Boston Legal," "Ski Patrol," "Caroline in the City," "Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman," "Star Trek: Voyager," and more.

Later in his life, in 2020, he began focusing more on his social media presence; he gained over 5.8 million followers on Instagram, where he became a contributor.

Before he died, he managed to put out an autobiography titled "How Y'all Doing? Misadventures and Mischief from a Life Well Lived" in April 2021.
