Shakira is moving across the Atlantic to heal and start a new life for herself and her children-but the move has sparked many rumors, like whether she has a secret lover in Miami.
The Colombian singer-songwriter probably planned to move to Miami, Florida long before she and Gerard Pique agreed with child custody, with the intent of leaving the toxic mess in Spain behind.
However, according to reports, a Spanish news website alleged that Shakira is moving to Miami because she can't wait to be reunited with a "mystery man," whom she met several months back.
The website, OK Diario, wrote: "It seems the Colombian singer could have found a new illusion in the shape of a mysterious man she apparently met in Miami and has been in contact with for four months."
Shakira is yet to confirm nor deny any of the rumors that she is moving to Miami because of a lover, however, it seems like it might have something to do with her split from the football player more than anything else.
Long-Time Coming
The singer's move to Miami comes several days after news that Pique's mother, Montserrat Bernabeu, knew her son was cheating on Shakira, but decided to help him hide the affair.
According to the Latin Post, a fight broke out between the two women: "It's all because when the relationship between Piqué and Clara Chia began, they took refuge in a house that Piqué's parents have in Cabrils, Spain."
"Bernabeu punched Shakira in the face in front of Gerard and his children," The source added, noting that Shakira had confronted her ex-mother-in-law after finding out.
It should be noted that none of the parties involved has spoken out about this alleged fight, and it remains to be all allegations.

Spring Cleaning
According to Hola, Shakira is bringing her entire family with her to Miami. Moving away from their home country was initially a very difficult decision for the singer, given that both her parents are in need of special medical attention, and moving would prove to be stressful and difficult for them.
However, after much consideration, Shakira's parents will be joining her, and so far, they don't seem to have any plans of returning to Spain any time soon-in fact, reports say that they might never come back.
The custody agreement that was finalized between the ex-couple details that Shakira was granted custody of their sons, while Pique will only get the kids during holidays.
