Many fans of Stevie Nicks in Alabama were excited to see the Fleetwood Mac member perform at her solo concert in the state, but they were surprised when the singer canceled her show at the last minute; what happened?

According to 95.3 The Bear, the singer was initially scheduled to perform at the Legacy Arena at the BJCC in Birmingham on April 5, 2023, but the show has been officially canceled and it appears that a rescheduled date will not be posted soon.

For those who already purchased tickets, refunds will be issued at the point of purchase.

Why Did Stevie Nicks Cancel Her Shows?

The main reason why the show will not push through was because of an ongoing illness within the band, but it was not confirmed whether Stevie Nicks was affected or not.

An official statement was released through Townsquare media and it appears that Alabama was not the only date that had been canceled as the singer also did not hold her concerts at Paycom Center in Oklahoma City on March 30 and the Smoothie King Center in New Orleans on April 2.

"It was announced today that Stevie Nicks will cancel three of her current solo tour dates due to ongoing illnesses within the band," the letter reads.

As of this writing, the musician has yet to react on the matter.
