It's been a month since GloRilla's concert turned into a nightmare after several people got injured and a few passed away due to a stampede. More recently, a sister of one of the victims is reportedly planning to file a lawsuit; will the rapper be included?

According to Billboard, an alleged victim is reportedly planning to sue after the incident, claiming that she suffered emotional distress. In order to get more crucial information about the concert tragedy, she requests to have access to the security footage of the street where the stampede took place.

A woman named Ronisha Huston claimed to be the sister of Rhondesia Belton, one of the three victims who tragically passed away after the incident.

In a court filing, her lawyers said Huston's sister "got caught up in the crowd surge" and she also witnessed her "getting crushed in the stampede."

GloRilla's Concert Venue Demanded to Hand Over Crucial Information

The recent filing isn't considered to be a formal lawsuit yet, but rather a form of "petition for pre-action discovery," which is a maneuver under the state of New York that allows a person to get a court order in order to get crucial information that would be used in the case.

The Main Street Armory, the place where the stampede took place, is said to be demanded to give the alleged victim more information about the incident, including which security agency was in charge of that evening, video footage of the event, emergency plans, and more.

As of this writing, GloRilla, whose real name is Gloria Hallelujah Woods, and other individuals were not named in the petition.

What Happened to GloRilla's Concert?

GloRilla performed in New York's Main Street Armory on March 5, 2023. After the show, a stampede ensued after concertgoers reportedly heard gunshots. However, authorities didn't find any evidence that could link to the actual gunfire.

Rochester reportedly refused to renew the venue's entertainment license, meaning they couldn't operate events in the future without it.

At the time of the incident, GloRilla took to social media to react on the matter, saying she's "devastated & heartbroken" over the deaths that happened after her concert.

"My fans mean the world to me, praying for their families & for a speedy recovery of everyone affected," she wrote on Twitter.
