It's been months since David Crosby passed away but most of his closest friends and bandmates are still mourning for his passing.

More recently, his good pal Graham Nash revealed that the group expected the musician to die over the past decade due to his health problems.

According to The Moore County News, the singer recently spoke to Uncut Magazine to reveal his personal sentiments over his late bandmate.

"We've expected David to pass away for the past 10 years," he told the publication.

The main reason being his medical issues as there was "so much wrong with him." The musician further explained that Crosby had five or six stents in his vein and he didn't take a good care of himself when he was still alive.

Even though he passed away in January, Nash still considers his death as an "earthquake" because the initial shock was terrifying for them.

Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young Members Made Amends Before David Crosby's Death

According to Far Out Magazine, David Crosby's life was consumed by excessive drug abuse during the height of the band's success in the 70s, which ultimately led to the disbandment of the band.

Decades later, Crosby called Young's wife "a purely poisonous predator" that continued their feud. Despite publicly apologizing to the musician, it was unknown if the pair made amends.

Elsewhere in the interview, Graham Nash revealed that they were able to make up before his bandmate's death, saying they were emailing each other and he left a voicemail for him, apologizing for his wrongdoings.

They scheduled a FaceTime call together with Neil Young but Crosby wasn't able to join. Unfortunately, a few days later, he died.
