Despite Snoop Dogg's acquisition of Death Row Records, Suge Knight has doubts about the purchase's legitimacy.

The "Drop It Like It's Hot" artist acquired the iconic gangsta rap label in February 2022 via MNRK Music Group, giving him his break into music in the early 90s.

In a conversation with TMZ when he was still in prison, Suge Knight - the former CEO and co-founder of Death Row Records - questioned the legality of the deal made concerning his label.

The 28-year sentence he was serving for voluntary manslaughter allowed him to speak from California State Penitentiary.

According to Suge, Michael "Harry-O" Harris committed bankruptcy fraud to take control of Death Row Records away from him.

Snoop Dogg had no involvement in the Death Row bankruptcy case of since he bought his stake in 2022. When asked about Snoop assuming control at Death Row, Suge Knight declared, "Well, if he do, I doubt that."

"First of all, you gotta look at it like this: I am Death Row. So I'm quite sure when it's said and done, [2Pac's] 'All Eyez On Me' and Makaveli will definitely come back to me, and the rest of the stuff."

Suge said that the repercussions of Snoop and Michael Harris' actions could not be understated that they committed bankruptcy fraud.

Subsequently, Suge explained he had to suffer the fallout; due to their actions, the lawyer failed to appear in court, and there was a default judgment against him, leading to my company's loss.

He further explained that despite settling the judgment, Snoop Dogg and Michael maintained that the ruling had not been resolved.

It was only last week when they allegedly uncovered evidence of bankruptcy fraud committed by them.

In 1995, when they registered for bankruptcy protection, they stated that Death Row had no involvement in this case.

"You can't commit bankruptcy fraud and settle and do those type of things. It's called illegal, it's a crime."

"You can't take the person who committed the worst crime of the century, taking Death Row from Black people and try to give it to white people, and think he gonna grab Snoop and they gonna get it back. It doesn't work like that."

Last month, various catalogs from the label Death Row Records became available on streaming platforms. These include Snoop Dogg's acclaimed albums "Doggystyle" and "Tha Doggfather."
