It has been a month since it was reported that actor-musician Jamie Foxx was rushed to the hospital to be treated for a medical emergency. Up until now, the cause and the medical emergency has been kept under wraps by his family.
Foxx's fans have been continuously worried as his family had been asking the public to pray for his safety and recovery.
Jamie Foxx Health Condition Update
According to a Radar Online source, Jamie Foxx's family was apparently "hoping for the best" but "preparing for the worst" as the actor continues to stay in the hospital because of his undisclosed medical emergency.
"Jamie's people are saying he's doing OK and improving, while doctors try to get to the bottom of his problems - but he wouldn't be in a hospital this long if he was anything close to OK," the source furthered.
In another TMZ report, the family said that Foxx "needs all the prayers and well-wishes his fans can muster." People in close relationships with Foxx have also echoed the same sentiment, asking them to pray for the singer.
In April, the media outlet also learned that many of Foxx's family members flew to the hospital to be with him - which others perceived to be somewhat of a dire moment for them.
At one point, Foxx was revealed to finally be able to communicate at one point, a "good news" that the family considered. Speculations grew because it would have meant that he was unconscious or was unable to communicate initially.
Another source told CNN that the actor underwent various medical tests at the same Georgia medical facility he was rushed to at the very start of his hospitalization.
His daughter, Corrine, assured fans in early April 2023 that her father had been taking "great care" by medical professionals. The post has since been deleted.

Jamie Foxx's Friends Worried About Him Too?
With the radio silence on what could be Jamie Foxx's medical emergency, his celebrity friends were also kept under wraps of what was happening too.
Nick Cannon, one of his dear friends, confessed to "praying profusely" about Foxx's condition.
"Man, I'm praying," Cannon told Entertainment Tonight. "You see, I posted on Instagram. I literally have been saying prayers out loud."
Similarly, Steve Harvey, Tracey Morgan, and Martin Lawrence joined the chorus of his fans in wishing and praying for his speedy recovery from whatever medical condition he is in.
